About Echo: Reflect on Your Memories

Echo helps you gain perspective on your life by enabling you to reflect on your activities after time has passed.
Every day, use Echo to capture ordinary activities. After a while, Echo will show you what you were doing in the past. Actively reflecting on those memories helps you not only appreciate what you have but also learn lessons from your behavior.
- Every day, capture ordinary activities by writing about them, maybe taking a photo or two, and rating your happiness level at that moment.
- Every day, Echo will show you what you were doing a week ago, a month ago, eventually a year ago (or longer). Actively reflect by re-rating your happiness in looking back on a memory and write whatever what comes to mind.
- The same memory may come back a few times, so you’ll see how the episode unfolded and how your views on it may have changed.
Echo users have found that it increases their level of happiness. They see the small annoyances of life in a larger perspective and figure out what really matters to them. They see patterns in their behavior and figure out ways to solve problems that weren’t apparent in the moment. They learn to appreciate the small stuff – right here, right now.
Features
- Capture daily activities with a description, photos, and a happiness rating
- Take photos right then, or attach photos from your gallery
- See memories from the past – a week ago, a month ago, a year ago
- Reflect on those memories by re-rating your happiness, writing a new description, and possibly taking new photos
- If you have multiple memories in a day, swipe to scroll through them to choose which one to reflect on
- If you have reflected on a memory in the past, view those reflections before reflecting again
- View all your past memories in a list
- If you forgot to enter a memory, you can add it later and assign it the correct date and time
- Echo is entirely private, so you can be completely open and honest. Your memories are kept on your phone, so no one can see them but you.

What are users saying about Echo: Reflect on Your Memories

by M####:

As a person with less than stellar memory, I love this app. It lets me look back and refresh my memories about the good (and bad) times I've had, and it also lets me investigate a bit more of what makes me really happy. I actually want to say thank you, both for making the app and making it free! Definitely improved my quality of life. Only problem - if an event has more than 4 entries, say 5 total entries, it is only possible to view the first four.

Let's you keep long term track of mood and memory's on a number system. Has a feature if you want to add pictures. Would be useful to add other variables, maybe allow a custom entry field or rating system. I'm only on my first day and I'm excited to see if anything interesting happens.
