이 시대의 많은 사람들은 말씀에 굶주려 있고 진리에 목말라하고 있지만, 급변하는 사회 속에서 또 너무나도 많은 것을 요구하는 현실 속에서 하나님의 말씀의 능력은 점차 희미해져 가고 있는 것 같은 느낌을 지울 수가 없습니다.

포도원교회는 하나님의 말씀의 진리를 이 시대에 다시 밝혀 인간의 참된 소망은 오직 말씀의 회복에 있음을 증명하기를 원하며, 과거 서구 유럽을 중심으로 일어났던 폭발적인 성령의 부흥의 역사가 오늘 우리 시대에도 재현 될 수 있음을 증명하기를 원합니다.냉혹한 현실의 늪에서도 하나님의 말씀을 붙잡는다면 하나님께 쓰임 받는 인생, 역전승의 인생을 살아갈 수 있으며, 세상에서 패배하지 않는 전천후 크리스천으로서 역동적이고 능력 있는 삶, 복의 근원이 되는 삶, 생기 있고 창조적인 삶을 살아갈 수 있습니다.
