About ThingView - ThingSpeak viewer

ThingView enables you to visualize your ThingSpeak channels in an easy way, just enter the channel ID and you are ready to go.
For public channels the application will respect your windows settings: color, timescale, chart type and number of results. The current version supports line and column charts, the spline charts are displayed as line charts.
For private channels, the data will be displayed using the default settings, as there is no way to read the private windows settings with the api key only.

Exceptionally easy to use. Provides attractive visualization charts of my real-time residential water use and an month-to-date use total. For the first time, with the aid of ThingSpeak and ThingView, I can now measure and visualize exact water use of my household appliances, water fixtures and property irrigation zones. With ThingView mobile access I am now able to visualize and avoid unexpected runaway water bills caused by mystery water leaks.

Love it, great to see my channels so easily on my mobile phone. However, the zooming function can be improved for zooming each axis separately.

Q70%
by Q####:

Really nice, but I do miss zoom in for time axis only.

T70%

I went for the full version and its worth it for the increased functionality. May I ask if it were possible to enable display of the Google chart visualization addons that are available when linked up to the thingspeak site directly. I have adapted one to read as a compass but unfortunately it only displays the line graph.

T70%
by T####:

Avarageing is not recognised. Time scale is wrong. I got few hours of missing data and it's not shown correctly in relation to time in chart.

The app makes attractive charts, however, it is limited to showing only "native" channel fields in the public view. It will not display charts produced by Thing Speak plugins. If you have any plug-ins in any view (public or private) you will see only the native fields in the public view. The developer quickly responded to my questions but did not offer a solution. Perhaps future updates will improve the functionality of this app.

P70%
by P####:

So both are public channels but I don't see exactly the same thing as I see on the website. I am changing the result count and it changes on the website but not on the app. I'd there a different way to expand the x-axis? Yeah they are both public channels which I added via the search public, never using my api key.

V70%
by V####:

Id give 5 stars if it would take graph scaling from the thingspeak and if it had easy channel sharing with different android (qr code, sharing link, etc.) and auto-refresh.

V70%
by V####:

Request you to add a refresh functionality in the graphs page

T70%
by T####:

Simple, clean. This app simply works. Nothing to add. No ads. Please consider adding Donate option.

T70%
by T####:

Nice app... Plz do keep a refresh button and auto refresh

W70%

This has to be about the best Thingspeak app out there
