Garbage, need partnered network to work

Limited access to viewing from your home. The other guys also offer roku apps while cypher is actually offering less and less. The hardware is the weakest link and you need it for the free option. Company really needs to start looking forward instead of backwards. I'd be perfectly happy having to buy the box if it would act as an iptv provider for my other stuff like plex, but as it is, since they removed the ability to watch while traveling I find myself almost never using the service. What is the point in offering a mobile app that can't be used while mobile.

Can no longer watch TV on my tablet or phone outside of my home what's the point of this app at home I'd watch on my TV not my phone. Totally pointless. Pvr on your TV box doesn't work and cache has to be constantly cleared on your over priced painfully slow outdated cipher TV bar. Think I'll cancel and try vmedia

After I uninstall this app I got a OTA antenna I can get more Channel than what this app can give me so happy now

There is potential and they use to have better channels but now I see mostly shopping and old movies type of channels. The subscription process is confuse... I tried to get the subscription with no luck in the past.

I live in Toronto and when I installed on my android box it said "Unfortunately you are outside of the Cipher TV service area and we are unable to serve you with our full product. Please uninstall the Cipher TV App".

Company unwilling to offer basic subscription without buying their hardware or signing up for their internet. Won't be long before someone with the know how fills that niche. Consumers want choices, not limitations.

whats up my cipher box works but when i sign in on my tablet i get sound but no picturelz help

Had this app for more than a year now. A year's worth of headaches. Needs constant rebooting. Lose of sound, picture freezing, settings changing on their own. Good concept but too many software issues.

Too bad you are forcing people to buy the tv bar instead of letting people subscribe through your app. You will drive people away and it is your loss.

I have 4 satellite receivers for $50.00 a month with more channels. To use this app I'll have to pay about $60.00 just for the extra Internet bandwidth above what I have plus the ciphertv charges

This has potential but not worth buying the TV bar. Their website has so many conflicting information in regards to the licensing plans. Don't waste your time downloading.

Excellent app. No problems at all. Have 100 mbps speed, no buffering issues at all. Recommend to everyone.

It was working good on my android TV box. I would have gladly paid small monthly fee for the free channels but I'm not going to pay for your TV box why??? I don't need to subscribe for more channels I was satisfied with those free one and I already have a TV camera for video calling. Your TV bar should be for those who want to subscribe for more channels. Sorry but this application was good until someone decided that people have to use your CipherTv bar in order to watch CipherTV.

It was great to watch, clear and fast, UI only good for touch screen but very hard and confuse to control on Android box. Wish this app can provide free services with improve UI one day

I loved this app as i live abroad and i allowed me to have a connection to news and tv from home. i even offered to pay a monthly fee. I sell android tv boxes and have for years and have my own custom aluminum boxes that are 10x better so why would i buy a sub standard machine when ours are better then most on the market and most of the ones on the market are better then yours spec wise? too bad as i would have paid a smalll monthly fee and could have offered it to my customers abroad and you would have made WAY MORE selling the service then you will trying to force people into your box

Pros: crystal clear channels. Very smooth when it is working. Was free. CONS: NOT ENOUGH CHANNELS. NO CHANNELS I WATCH IN TORONTO. - NOT WORTH BUYING The box and paying for channels. No on demand or mainstream chanels. There was no mention of it being a test but i guess the number of downloads of the app changed their minds. Too bad i dont vhave a copy of EULA .

Not worth payning for, too many other apps do similar things... As it is, its mostly canadian Over the Air tv anyway... Keep it free cipher!!! Or make a versioon with only CBC, CTV, GLOBAL, etc.. canadian....

A week ago no that bad only use one channel.But now need to buy a box ,not a chance.

If we started paying for this app what are the additional benefits apart from those we have been seeing like more channels, VoD and other features???
