City index is con they charge commission don't explain anything I would never recommend this company ask to read small print did not explain charges when making deals better other companies I would Not use

Been using this for about 2-3 years. No issued

Some days can log in no problem , other days it just decides to not allow u click the login button. Pretty poor app.

Overall the app feels difficult to operate compared with similar trading apps such as IG and Plus 500. My app is currently failing to log in after various attempts. Also unable to trade on crypto currencies such as Litecoin and Ethereum.

App should have "Take Profit" button just like the "Stop Loss" button.

Seriously, your money is at risk due to a poor update that doesn't let you login when you need to. . Another massive loss thanks to this app... Gain capital, not good enough.

Nice interface and works well. I only wish it made it clear the amount of commission you are charged on certain trades.

Doesn't work at all. Unable to login despite several emails.

I just created new account using the app. Now I'm trying to login to upload docs BUT it's impossible. It says "unable to estabish a network connection". My network is fine. Same problem on fairtrade app, which is also Gain Capital made.

It's frustrating that I have to login in every time I come back to the app. Have used others and their app is so much superior! On Samsung S6. Have tried the settings as recommended but no effect.

Continually unable to log in. Constantly having to uninstall and re-install app. Shouldn't have to, a waste of time and data.

360mb mobile data consumption and all I did was use it for 15 minutes total over the last 3 days. Didn't use to be like that!

Login problems and watchlists get corrupted

Used to be fantastic, but since an update a few weeks ago I have to keep closing and reopening the app. Quite regularly crashes on charts so you can't do anything (change time frame or place orders) and regularly opens with no prices displayed so needs reopening again. When it works, it is great!

would be good if more indicators could be added to the mobile app ie ATR etc

Seems to be getting lost. Shows P&L in points as well as money... excellent. Now wouldn't it be great if I could setup one-click trades ( complete with standard distance for Stop and Target ) . What a waste of tight spreads and excellent order execution to require over THIRTEEN CLICKS to create a trade with a Stop-loss and Target. Without defaults for trade setups this isn't really ready for live use.

Decent app. Just wish I could see the financing charges on the actual app.

Great app, easy to use, full of functionality

Much improved since a few years ago but it is still much slower and require much more data than IG's app. Also, the history/trade ledger needs to improve so that it has a [+] sign like the one on the web so I can match up the opening/closing trade and the P&L. Could CityIndex please make the 'close all position' button at the bottom optional via setting please - this is one of a very dangerous button. Thank you

Has improved since first using the application. I am very happy with this application, does what I need while on the move. Still have issues with the charts being slow, but, otherwise I would and have recommended your software to friends and colleagues alike.

Best trading app out there, very easy to use on the go.

I am using huawei eagle phablet phone. Android 4.2.2. So far all good never crashed. All ways working. Good replay and service. It just need better drawing tools. But keep up the good work.

Really well put together app. Fast and efficient for monitoring watchlists and positions on mobile, and making trades. Charting is awesome, and being able to add indicators to the chart and have the various stochastic and MA tools off-chart is very cleverly implemented. Trading is quick and simple too, with trade buttons everywhere, and the interface is almost identical to the desktop platform. My only very slight problem is that on my Moto G almost every time I open it after not using it for a while it immediately closes. A second tap on the icon opens it fine. No error given. Otherwise I love it!
