Routing from the home screen just got easier. Slide down to open the map, pan it around, open your eyes, tap that cheeky ➡️ button (pretend the emoji is green). It'll take you wherever your crosshair was pointing ????
Saved places have made their way onto the home screen map too, look out for purple icons showing your Home/Work/That snazzy Boulangerie, with the warm croissants you can't quite make it through Monday morning without.

Have used many bus apps before but this one is amazing and went way beyond my expectations.

Absolutely brilliant app, it's incredibly useful and I've never had a problem with it. A+++

I can almost everything find shorter way and this app is just extending it just like Google maps

Часто предлагает только такси, хотя можно добраться и общественным транспортом. Москва и область.

Mmmm! Works in London. Yay for them!

Couldn't live without it anymore in London. Great features, accurate travel information, super app!

Constantly hammering battery life by sending wake-up triggers. Back to 5 stars when fixed.

The only navigation assistant you need in London - truly awsome

Please add notification when your bus is approaching, thanks.

Just started using it but impressed. I'd love to see better support for the driving portion of my commute. Suggestion: use public school schedule information in your traffic model. The extra traffic from drop/off and pickup is huge and easy to predict. As a user, I'd be happy to contribute to a crowd sourcing effort. Please, for the love of God, don't get aquired by google. You're already out innovating them and they'll just slow you down.

Great app for my commute in Stockholm! The only request I'd make, if it's possible, is to program in recommendations on which end of the platform to stand on to be closer to your exit at the destination. You already have exit data, so hopefully there's a way to associate the exits with a platform side. So the ux would be to get a notice in the app saying "stand on the (name) exit side of the platform to be closer to your exit when you arrive" This would really put his app above and beyond any competing apps in this country! Fingers crossed :)

I've been using this app for the past two years it was an amazing app with the accurate bus and metro live timings.. but for the past few days the timings are not accurate, ±10 minutes change in the live timings (Sadly, I've missed the night bus back home and stood under the cold bus stop for 30 mins for the next bus).. I'll give 5 star again once the bugs are corrected..

by T####:

Really great app. Main advantages you don't need to tell it where you are, just your destination. It will give you choice of transport, fares and arrival times. My friends hate my punctuality. Lol. Many strangers ask me for the name of this app. I pass it along gladly, my good deed for the day

Our first trip to NYC and this little piece of coding was a trip saver. The ability to search for spots to visit and it maps out the path with various options is the bomb. The GPS had issues in the cities at times but not a show stopper. Highly recommend!!!

R70%
by R####:

It was perfect for a year. Now it doesn't pick up my location thus cannot give me travel info for current location. I have the relevant permissions on and I've attempted reinstalling twice. What's wrong?

R70%
by R####:

This is one of my very favourite apps ever. I moved to London recently and this has been my saving grace. I don't know how I would get to work and back without Citymapper and I recommend it to everyone travelling around London!

R70%
by R####:

This app shows incorrect bus times. It's happened twice already where the app shows you it's coming in 4 min and the bus has long left. Uninstalling and would not recommend.

R70%
by R####:

GLOBALLY BAD, UNRELIABLE AND EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. INCOHERENT, CITYMAPPER is good at telling you what you know. They happily add 10,15,women or more to a journey selected with any problem accruing on the way. Actually they always add time what ever... why? In short: UNRELIABLE

R70%
by R####:

Good only for basic information. The gps service this is trying to provide is awful. An example: tells you to go long way round to underground and does not actually track real movement. How is that supposed to help? Who the hell developed that?

R70%
by R####:

Too reliant on a constant internet connection, unusable without, i.e. on the underground. Why not allow departure times to be shown, even if they are not live? Cannot choose a departure after it's left, or a departure time in the past, so impossible to calculate onward journeys. Sometimes ignores routes involving buses, even if they are quicker

F70%
by F####:

Fantastic app. A real lifesaver whilst on a city break, I wish when navigating via foot the map showed landmarks to orientate yourself. I found this odd seeing as it encourages walking with the stats

R70%
by R####:

Great app. The public transport routes are spot on. Even better than Google maps' directions. Shows the names of all the bus stops along the way and gives you alerts when you need to switch transportation in singapore. Well done

F70%
by F####:

Used this App in New York and it worked so well we took Subways everywhere. We even used it to take a 3.7 Mile bike ride from lower Manhattan through Midtown, Time square to 5th Avenue. It helped make our trip amazing. Less users and cabs meant we could spend more $ on other fun things. Loved this app. Now bring it to Houston ,TX I can help with the bus system here!

R70%
by R####:

Wow, what a really great app! I stumbled upon it, am very glad. I was even able to reference the CTA stop number as my origin and/or destination. Thanks

Q70%
by Q####:

For local commuting the app is useless without live departure times. When they work it's great but it's been weeks since they stopped working in my area

K70%
by K####:

It is just Google maps. If you look you can see the Google symbol. It is not as good as Google maps. Waste of time. Just a plain copy.

R70%
by R####:

Amazing app, saved me a lot of time and hassle while I was in HK. Showed me the best way to reach my destination, without it I'd end up taking taxi and paying more. Only downside is it can't track my location properly. I was halfway across the city and it still thinks I'm in the hotel.

R70%
by R####:

Superb details for daily commuting by public transport. There are quite a few countries which Google Map doesn't work well but here with the citymapper will work out everything nicely for you!

R70%
by R####:

Great app but I can't figure out how to turn on notifications for service changes. This used to be the feature part of this app, but it seems to be missing. Please fix this.

P70%
by P####:

This is my new favorite transit app. The real time trip information, which subway cars, entrances and exits to use. Multiple supported cities makes it useful almost anywhere. Great job by the developers.

R70%
by R####:

Update. It shows a wrong information when is limited service. Looking for alternative app You crapy software just only offer bus service for next morning. Need a lot improvement.

R70%
by R####:

Must for every city dweller! I've used CityMapper in several cities and it has been most accurate with transit timings. Love that each city has its personalized set of transportation facilities to check against - like the water taxi in Chicago, bike shares in London. Very useful whether you live in the city or are visiting.

R70%
by R####:

How is it possible not to be able to change distance units? So that means I HAVE to use the units system you impose to me, great!

R70%
by R####:

Screw you city mapper people. Your app just took me to completely the wrong place, and made me walk 5km in dark, freezing conditions. I hope something unpleasant happens to you, like an aggressive Hippopotamus comes into your office and deficates on your carpet.

R70%
by R####:

Not as accurate as it used to be for simple tasks like recommending the best subway route to a destination. They need to focus on fixing the basics before adding yet more features.

R70%
by R####:

Lately not accurate on picking up current location. Stuck allot on previous location....

W70%
by W####:

Really good for finding best trip but surprisingly bad for tracking it afterwards. Also time for subway and bus is quite hit or miss (in Paris).

R70%
by R####:

Amazing, used it in Tokyo and made travelling so much easier. Tells you which entry/exit you need to use and even which train car to sit in to make transfers quicker.

R70%
by R####:

Give wrong direction and most of the time give a longer route. Wrote in feedback a few times but no reply or follow up.

HOW TO KEEP CONTINUE HAVING AN EXCELLENT APPLICATION THROUGH TWO MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS : Hi there, hope the team's doing well, To bring a little bit of context, I am using the application since I arrived in London 3 month ago, and won't use another application because your design is awesome, you can save adresses so that you don't have to type them again, the app is precise and works very fast. However there is a need for 2 new points. Let's use concrete exemples : 1) I am in Walthamstow Central In London, willing to go home in Stepney Green Station. I use the app to show the best way to go home. It tells me to use the Overground, Ok. Then stop at Bethnal Green station and walk home. No. It's gonna be 25 minutes walking. Ok it's one of the fatest way to go home. But the application doesn't give interesting alternatives like going to Liverpool Street then take the District Line for 3 stops and walk home for 2 minutes. This alternative would make sense, maybe 4 minutes more but I won't have to walk 25 minutes every day. My point is : THE APP SHOULD PROPOSE OTHER SMART ROUTES. 2) Here comes the second improvement which should be done. GIVING REAL TIME INFO WHEN PRESSING ON THE "GO" BUTTON. I am in Oxford Circus, it would be very nice if the app, based on the walking time, on the changing platform time .. would give you the real time for you to get to your destination. I mean the exact time. If you start to walk, you can get the tube, then you should have the bus of 10:35. Not the average time. Because sometimes you think it's gonna be 45 minutes, but when you arrive at the station your realise the next train is in 20 minutes. Means I should have choose another route. Thank you for reading me and hope you'll be able to bring the updates ???? Cheers. Maxime Le Guyader
