Touching story of an Ky. orphan girl who could sing like a bird and who became beloved by both the Union and Confederate armies. It was not her singing that brought her "fame"but her ministrations to thousands wounded then. Native Kentuckian and a Catholic sister! I love the interactive elements of this work of art, music, animation! Can't say enough about this rare gem of a multimedia story. For $2.99 this is a steal. Plan on using this with church youth! My grandfather is getting one (civil war buff)!

We read this story as we prepared the family to vacation touring civil war sites from Kentucky to Pennsylvania. Really helped bring the war to life for us all.

I do not understand why this app is published. This isn't even what I would consider a beta version. I would suggest just publishing it as an eBook. But if you're going to keep this app please change the font, remove the birds from the 10th slide, make the buttons look more like actual buttons, do not switch back and forth between portrait and landscape, make the video full screen, and just work more on it. On my nexus 5 the aspect ratio is also a little weird.
