About Install the MobileData button

This app installs the Mobile Data button in the notification panel so that you can easily turn on/off your mobile data network (3G, 4G, LTE, etc) with only one click.

It is important to be able to switch off the mobile data:
* it is very convenient if you want to limit your mobile data traffic and thus save on your phone bills
* if offers you a better privacy: with just one click you can enable the mobile data on your phone when you need it and then disable it when you don't need it anymore. Doing that, you ensure better confidentiality, stopping your phone from sending data in the air anytime and when you don't want to. Do not let the NSA spy on you!
* turning off the mobile data network will save your battery lifetime.

With this app (QuickPanel Restore) the MobileData icon will be added to the notification panel, making it very easy for you to disable/re-enable your mobile data connection (3G, 4G, ...) every time you want.

I was looking for this solution for a few weeks and on my note 4 with android 6.01 all the others took me to my data and asked me manually to turn that off. This one just works. 10/10

Works on Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Thank you so much! Before I found this, I'd spent hours googling, talking to Samsung tech support...all were dead ends, until I found this.

Perfect. Just what I was looking for. My only problem is that you can't edit the button to place or move on the other position. It returns back in its position after a moment. But that is not a big issue for me. Still 5 star! I'm using samsung galaxy prime, lollipop.

This worked on my note 4. Glad I decided to try it even though other reviews say it doesn't work on their phones

It says it's compatible and installed but I can't see it in my notification bar. (Galaxy 6S) This should be an automatic thing in the first place.

Guys r u really sure u have tested it on few mostly used devices. It says it installed it in the notification bar but nothing has been installed. Disappointed. On s6 edge plus it does not work.

D70%
by D####:

So glad to have it back - although it appears as an icon and not in quick toggle bar. Does anyone know how to get it in notification bar? Thank you

Best data app ever. I was looking for exactly this. The other data apps work decently, but the widgets are ugly, and distract from your home screen, or stop working consistently, and you need to re add the widgets after removing it. I'd give this 10 stars if I could. Amazing.

D70%

I am really surprised where was this all along. I have a T-Mobile version of note and all along was thinking it is they who have removed the data button. Fantastic functionality perhaps I am biased but rightly so. Great work guys.

The best relief I ever got from a problem with my note 4. This app defies all reviews on forums that only advertise 3 or 4 step solutions to the data toggle problem on some lollipop phones. The real mobile data button is back. Million thanks, guys! !

My mobile data icon disapeared. I installed another toggle app and it either did not work or was just confusing and complicated. Then I found this one. It was a simple install and was an exact replacement. However the next day the toggle icon was gonna again. Thankfully the install icon was still on my desktop and with a tap it reinstalled. I'm not sure why it disapeared the 1st time or the 2nd. If I could figure that out I'd go 5 stars.

Just installed this app android so far I love it. It solved my very annoying problem of having to click 3 times to turn my data on or off. 1 click does it. If it stays working like this, it would make for the best app that solves this issue that the maker's of our high cost phones felt they needed to take away from us. Will not place an icon on any of your screens, only on your notification panel, but this in my opinion is perfectly ok.

I was looking for this kind of app for long time...finally got it. It does exactly what it days :) Cheers to the developers.

Wow. Just Amazing. I have many problems related to mobile data because I don't have icon in my notifications panel. Thanks

D70%

It didn't tell me that it's not compatible with Note 8 until I install it. Waste of time!

D70%

I love this app! Since Samsung/Google/T-mobile makes it so hard to turn off mobile, and I don't want to give them money for nothing, this app is a MUST.

D70%

Did just what it said on my s6. No need to restart. Perfect. [EDIT] After updating to marshmallow the icon disappeared again and this app no longer helps. Still seeking a way to fix this issue.

T70%

If it stayed installed after I restart my phone, I would give it a 5 stars! It might be the phone, every time I restart it, the button disappears! Not a big deal, I install it again! Essential function!

Exactly what i needed. It works like magic. I almost gave up on mobile data notification switch. Thanks to the developer.

Samsung did a bad move removing this button and taking a piece of control away from its customers. This app did exactly what it said. Restored the mobile data button in the notification panel in a second. No ads or 30 day trial, no after-charges. Simple and straight forward. Completely free. Thank you!!!

I had to factory reset my phone. When I turned it back to where it was before, I saw that the mobile data button was gone. But this app brought it back in a few seconds. It's awesome!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Edge 6 Plus, and at first when I downloaded this app it said I was compatible, went through the process, but even when it said my button was back it never came back. Now it says my phone isn't compatible. What a waste. When am I gonna get this fixed? Samsung f'ed up so when they gonna fix it???

Hi, I recently got an S8 + and this phone doesn't have the mobile data button. I was so happy to see your app but when I opened it it said device not compatible. Please update your app and I will surely give a 5 star????. Kind regard, -Z

How did I endure so long without this button. Since a phone upgrade took away the button, each time I had to go to the home button > Settings > Data Usage > Mobile Data > turn it on or off, that is 5 taps plus wait time, and switching from whatever I was looking at. Ugh! This app is so much better than apps that you have to go into, to turn on data. That still has the same problem. Button in the notification panel is perfect, the most convenient location.

D70%
by D####:

Doesn't work for Samsung galaxy s6. Says unfortunately your device is not supported. Wonderful. Samsung pulled the original quickpanel restore from the galaxy apps store too. Not having a mobile data quick link really is a pain in the butt and is what's going to cause Samsung to lose a customer over the last few years. I wonder why no app works to restore the s6 quick links.... hmmmm.

Keeps saying that it was successfully added on the panel list but it didnt. Even tried to restart my phone galaxy s6 edge but still did nothing. Total waste of time

This app is exactly what i needed for my phone. Too bad it won't let me use it because my phone is not compatible with the app (samsung galaxy s8+). I will give this app 5 stars if it support my phone in the next update

Its not compatible with my samsung galaxy express prime. Would be much appreciated if it was compatible. I hate how AT&T removed this from the status bar. Its absolutely ridiculous.

My old Galaxy S2 had the mobile data button in the notification panel but not my Galaxy S5 which was a retrograde step since you would have to go through more than twice the number of steps to switch it on or off. I used another app for awhile but had to position it on my home screen for easy access and it stopped working once I moved from android Kit kat to Marshmallow. I came across this app which beautifully installs the mobile data button in the notification panel. Works like a charm. It's a Godsend. Great work and highly recommend.

Awesome app????. It even works on Lollipop. I tested the button+restarted my phone. The button is still there-- yay! I had to replace my Note 4 that had the button. This new Note 4 was unlocked but originally AT&T, who took away the data button. I'm so happy to get it back. Thank you!!

My S6 from Sprint took away my mobile data button, probably to make ppl use more data. I was so glad to find this App! Installed, restarted (nougat) and the button was in quick items again.

D70%
by D####:

Incredible app, very simple, does EXACTLY what it says it does. Nothing more, nothing less. Worked perfectly on my S5. Don't downrate the app just cause the app isn't compatible with your phone. If it doesn't work, that's too bad. You don't have to take it out on the developer's app.

by D####:

It said that the mobile data button can be installed on my s6, then proceeded to do so....however, when i looked at the quick launch panel, no such icon showed up, even after restarting
