About Maverick: GPS Navigation
Use offline maps and GPS even without an internet connection. This app is great for hiking, boating, geocaching and other outdoor activities.
• Multiple global and regional online maps, including: Bing, Yandex, Open Street Maps, OSM Cycle, OSM Public Transport, Multimap (UK), OutdoorActive (Germany, Austria, South Tyrol), Cykloatlas, HikeBikeMap (Germany), Open Piste Map, NearMap (Australia) and many other maps.
All maps automatically cached for offline use. Use Mobile Atlas Creator to download maps or MAPC2MAPC to convert maps from other formats.

Excellent, I love it. One tiny thing though, the recently added feature of the abillity to write to external card doesn't work due to it not being able to find it. This is only app that can't find my external SD card.

There are no route lines between consecutive waypoints, and there's no compass-course-to-target (to dial into your analog compass)

My gps was on and my wifi was working but still the compass didn't point to the correct direction. I think its nearly 30 degrees off so that's huge. Another app im using, it shows the correct direction so this app needs some work.

Use of external sd card feature is dimmed and has a description of "no card detected" even if there is a 64 gb external micro sd card inserted in the phone/gadget. Please address this issue sooner. Thank you.

Will install without asking special permission. After installation it will ask for rights to pictures and more if you deny it will not work. ..junk junk junk

No other Android app has assistance like bus routes etc in maps of Chinese cities. Would like more English markings. Kudos!

Great app. It works even with wifi with internet only as long as you have a wifi with internet with you it can record your tracks. But there is 1 problem i keep encountering, it always promts me with a dialog box saying turn on gps in settings menu even if my samsung galaxy star duos gt s5282 does not have a built in gps. Your search feature sucks. Please address these issues, thank you very much.

Its a fantastic app but having problems with distance and speed , I walk a couple of 100 ft it reads 2.5mls at 35 mph.HELP!!

I tried several off road navigation apps on my azpen a1040 tablet. This app is one of the few that work without freezes or crashes. The interface is easy to use, records tracks with one tap and waypoints are easy to set. It is supposed to be able to allow loading of maps to an SDcard also, but I have not trried to do that yet. If that works this app will ba 5 star Plus.
