Excellent eye for what forecast models are saying, very honest, doesn't hype up the potential for any kind of weather without reason, been following for two years now! ☺

J.C. is the best weather guy around. And if it ever gets broke, he fixes it. Honest weather without pressure from advertisers and corporate pressure. If you read what he writes you'll know exactly what's going on and the possibilities of what may happen instead of waiting until the last minute like your local news. I.E. Sandy two weeks out. Thanks J.C.!

Awesome app

My go to for anything weather related. Started to follow just before Sandy hit, JC was much more accurate than any of the so called tv "meteorologists". Have relied on Severe New Jersey Weather since then and ignore the Philly weather forecasters.

He should get a meteorology degree since he's way more accurate than ANY meteorologist on any station. I only listen to him now and boy has it paid off! Great sense of humor too - he actually makes weather fun!

I started following JC a while before Hurricane Sandy & he was always spot on. Then came Sandy, I would say a good 7-10 days before Sandy JC was calling a blow to the shore. Meanwhile tge rest of the news downplayed it. I followed JC & stocked up way before anyone else called the storm & sadly JC was right & the shore was slammed. Every snow storm he's right. So as I tell anyone follow JC!!!

This is a great app. I recommend all New Jersey residents get it. He is almost always right on the money and he is a fun read.

Jonathan Carr is THE "go to" guy for anything weather in this area....he's always spot on with his forecasts and this app is a GREAT way to keep up to date and in the know when it comes to Severe NJ Weather!

Would love to rate 5 stars, as I follow on FB and would love to have the convenience of having on my phone, but app won't open on my phone. All I get is a photo of lightening.

Severe NJ weather is excellent. I wish the app had a way to filter out the rest of the Facebook comments so I could get straight to what I'm looking for. The fifth star would be for the filter.
