Folio Classic (a.k.a. Folio Pro)

Used to be good but now really unreliable. The news feed jumps all over the place and the tabs take an age to update when you move from one to the other. Gonna uninstall and try and find a better alternative.

It's my favourite non-zuckerberg FB app, and its layout and features are even greater than Folio II - but sometimes it just can't get out of the messages list, forcing me to close it and open it again. Despite that, it's a great app!

Used to love it but recently it's been basically broken. Navigation through Facebook is weird, things don't load, refreshes instead load a new page, messages and notifications are not automatically refreshed, and text input is broken. I typed a long post and when it submitted it only kept the first line. This has happened over and over the past few weeks. Can't believe this is the paid version of an app

Haven't had an update in a while and I paid for the Pro version. This app has become unstable and doesn't load or update like it used to do.

It's very good overall, but I am not receiving any notifications since the last update.

Decent, but it is not sending me notifications for messages. I've contacted support twice with no response!

Cannot see likes anymore. Please fix

Up until recently, Folio was a terrific app. After the last couple of updates, it has become almost unusable. It's extremely unstable and the view keeps jumping around like the damned thing is on meth! It stinks now. These problems need to be addressed, quickly.

Downgraded from 3 stars to 2. As others have noted this WAS a great alternative to the official FB app but the dev won't quit tinkering with a good thing... to the point that it isn't anymore. I also don't get the name change and the a.k.a. thing. I suspect that and the functional changes are about driving sales of Folio 2 but who knows. I just wish I could revert to an older version.

Use this app all the time and it was great but now I can't read anything on my news feed without it jumping to another post. Makes it totally useless and annoying. Giving it a week and if not fixed I'll be saying goodbye.

The app was great compared to the Facebook app. Was. Now it jumps all over if you have sponsored posts hidden making it virtual useless. Hopefully the makers fix it, but I see there is a folio lite 2 so I doubt this one is a priority.

It's not bad. Plenty of customisation but unfortunately it's just not as slick as the official Facebook app. It gets stuck, forgets where I am in my timeline and viewing photos is just not as easy. The search function just refreshes the page.

New version blocks posts by things you like, not just ads. Worse, they disappear as you're reading them. Awful user experience. Much worse than the old Pro

I love this app. The only thing that annoys me is that I have trouble attaching photos, and sometimes my comments don't post. Otherwise 5/5.

Has become unstable, again. Posts disappear before your very eyes. Why did I pay for a more buggy version of the free app, Friendly? Issues are quickly fixed with Friendly, why not with Folio Pro?

Fairly rubbish app. Many things don't work properly. Most of the time hitting the little magnifying glass icon to search does nothing. Menu items are also often unresponsive, and it is awkward to find your notifications. There is some strange thing that happens when you try to add photo to a post that seems to require you to do the process twice for it to work. Messenger is enraging as it automatically scrolls to bottom of conversation every time a message is posted, making it all but impossible to go back and read earlier messages in a fairly active conversation. The app also doesn't let you tag friends in a post except for having it in the form "xxxx"- with (friends name here). I just don't know why making a half decent Facebook app is this hard?

Lately this app has really started to become disappointing... When I'm scrolling my news feed it randomly jumps around and the more button doesn't work. If you're not going to support the app then I'll just go to an alternative that cares about their customers

With the new update, the app is unusable. It freezes after only a few seconds. I've reinstalled, factory reset... It's the app. Regret I paid for it. The free version still works!

Posting videos is crazy annoying to do, disappointed I enjoyed this app and even paid for the unlocked. Now they want me to pay again for Folio 2?

Sad to see all the comments regarding the app becoming unusable, not being responded to. I do see some of the Devs are in Texas, maybe that is why there has been no response?

Recently news feed items move/vanish while you're scrolling. So you start to read something & suddenly it changes to something else.

This app used to be a good FB alternative, unfortunately it has gone down hill -- not sure if it's even supported any more, the organization behind it is probably very barebones but that's no excuse for charging people for an app where *most of the time I cannot see my new notifications or posts in my news feed*. This renders the app almost unusable, only way to fix it is to close app and reopen again, even that doesn't always work. Switching back to official fb app.

Latest update is causing a lot of problems... MORE menu option does NOT WORK

It's not working anymore. Always stuck on red screen saying "the page you requested is not available right now" . Will change my review when it is fixed

Long term user but recently the news feed has started jumping around. Shame unusable as is.

Was my goto app for years. Now unusable and I suspect thanks to the appearance of a sequel paid app, deliberately so. I'll not be buying anything from you again.

Become very poor recently, touch screen taps don't work when trying to search out change from feed to notifications

It worked great on the last phone. Definitely worth the buy. It constantly says "no internet connection" and does not notify me anymore since getting HTC u11

It was great, now just keep jumping and is impossible to read the timeline. I hope they fix this quickly.

This is what the official Facebook app should be like in terms of performance and small resource footprint. It's one of the first apps I install on a new device.

You can't download pictures and videos on both Instagram and Twitter so help

no switch accounts, very slow, and user setting is not working

Good but still very buggy

I used to like this app. But the latest update removes the ability to use a color theme with Facebook set to show white text on a black background. That's one of the main features I used all the time. Stop forcing your users to choose between "Night Mode" and having a color theme in the app. This is a feature regression and you need to fix it.

Does not remember where I left off. If I open app again without closing it it starts from the beginning. Used to work a couple of versions ago.

I'm done with Folio, it has a lot of features but it's been getting more and more frustrating to use, features are badly implemented and it's a just a plain old pain to use now. I have switched to Toffeed now.
