I originally made this into a light weight crochet poncho patterns but everybody used it as a wrap around that is was easy to turn it into a light weight poncho. The kids will go crazy for this crochet afghan pattern. This may sound hard but it's easy even for the beginner crocheter. Don't forget to make the crochet afghan too.

Use a big crochet hook, at least bigger than a K or you can use a smaller one. The loops will be as big or little as you want them. Again making adjustment to your own size.
Finishing: fold in half, using a slip stitch join both sides together. Check at this point to make sure it will fit you or the person you're making it for. You can put fringe on it if you like fringe. I personally don't like fringe but some people do. Make them 12 to 16 inches long and use a slip knot to attach them to the edges.

To make the crochet poncho patterns , don't connect the edges together.
