This app is fantastic. Most of the food I've scanned is in the database with all nutritional profiles. You can add full recipes, smoothies soups meals etc. Once a recipe is saved you can easily add it by saving to your favourites. Over the moon can see exactly what im eating and track it accurately.

Super in depth, excellent app. Just not for me because of how long it will take me to add in each meal. E.g. Today my breakfast alone had two homemade baked items, four fruits, yoghurt and peanut butter. Would take ages to enter it, if it was even possible.

I've been looking for an app that can track my waistline, count calories, and sync to Google Fit. Cronometer does all that as well as allows me to track my macros! I haven't found another app that can do all this and be as user-friendly.

Cronometer website is fine though due to the lack of kilojoules I don't use it. The app is terrible, though. Still looking for a good one.

Y70%
by Y####:

All I want is some way to track my calcium intake so I can meet my goal of 1200/day. This isn't the app for that, because it doesn't allow you to isolate JUST ONE micronutrient. I am beginning to think there just isn't any app that does that.

Love this app, easy to use. Great if your trying to stay 80/10/10

I have download every macro app used and deleted them. Not ever one I dowloaded could do everything I wanted. I wanted to track percentages and grams. I wanted bar code scanner, to enter recipes and have my nutritional values figured. I wanted to be able to edit my recipes too. I wanted to be able to customize my nutritional needs. I wanted to know if I was getting enough soduim or Vitamin C. I wanted everything I found on the different ownloaded apps all in one app. That app is Cronometer Gold! I love this app.

I finally found a fitness app that helps you figure out if you're getting the nutrition you need to live.. However, I do have a question, I don't understand, if I subscribe, will the adds go away while using this free app? It says it will. But I've read some other reviews that say no, you have to pay 2.99 for mobile app. Is the $2.99 app an updated version or what? I will eventually subscribe because I love this app.. but I will have to wait a bit before I can do so. Just trying to figure out the difference in the free app vs the $2.99 app before and after subscription..

Love love love this app. It is helps me keep track not only my macros but also alot micro nutrients, as my blood ketones & glucose. If highly recommend this.

App has had nothing but issues searching foods for 3 days. Constantly says needs internet connection... Ready to uninstall and will never pay for an appointment that I cannot rely on to run.

Y70%
by Y####:

If you want or need to see the macro or nutritional breakdowns of each day/meal or even food, this app is superior. The "Oracle" feature from premium that suggests food to ramp up missing nutrients from your day is fantastic. Love it! UI is easy to understand and use also.

-I use this for keto, and prefer it to MyFP for keto. -The search needs to be more fine tuned. -I know you can "copy" items, but I haven't figured out how to paste them elsewhere. Please add a feature to copy items from prior days if it doesn't yet appear in your frequently used foods. That, or tell me how to use the above mentioned "copy" button, if that's even what it's for. -Please make this useable offline. Understandable if you can't look up new foods, but we can still add foods from frequently used. -I only have 1 account, and I get logged out frequently. Please keep me logged in.

Good app when you can use it! Logged me out and when I tried to get back in told me the user didn't exist, even after validation. Had to reinstall and problem still not fixed.

Y70%

Edit: 5 stars now. Issue was fixed within a day or two Can't add new foods to the database using the app.. it gives an error so had to use the web browser

U70%

Very difficult to add food products. Unlike fitnesspal. And doesnt show the nutrients for every food. Like the omega3s in my flackers. Other than that great great app. Love it

Y70%
by Y####:

Why do we have to subscribe to share recipes? Pretty lame. Make a version we don't have to subscribe to. Just charge us for app on time and that's it.

Y70%
by Y####:

I think this is much better than myfitnesspal. The only thing I don't like is when i try to enter 'my foods' i don't get the wonderful option to scan a bar code. I do get that option with 'my recipes'. Do I really have to put a Costco bacon wrapped steak as a recipe in order to get scannable inputting ?

Y70%
by Y####:

Wouldn't even let me sign up.. I tried loads of times and reinstalled it twice..

Y70%
by Y####:

Getting glitchy. Won't allow you to slide single items for editing majority of the time. Won't allow you to adjust macros to fit personal needs after selecting keto diet without flipping back to one where you have to enter your own percentages as a whole.

Y70%
by Y####:

Love the website. But app is written with 10 year old code. Why not follow Android app guidelines??? If you look at an app like fat secret that uses material design you will see what I mean.

This is a great app. Only a few steps shorts of brilliant. I would love to be able to change ingredients in a recipe for that particular day only without changing the entire recipe and impacting on previous days that those recipes have been used as well. I also think if possible, multiple user profiles in app would be very handy for me to help track my hubbys food and my kids food also ;)

So far, I'm really LOVING this app. You only have a few tweaks to reach 5 stars IMHO. Add our ability to add multiple serving sizes. Can we customize in APP after bar scan if data in app is wrong? I think so, but if not, it's pretty crucial. I truly am so impressed though that I'm about to share my love of this app with friends, acquaintes, and my DOCTORS❤️

I just upgraded, and the nutrient balance section completely covers the protein breakdown. I've tried everything from expanding and retracting other sections to changing my font size. There's no option to minimize it either. It's terribly frustrating and disappointing. I was so excited to upgrade, this makes me really regret that.

Y70%
by Y####:

It lacks some features from the web interface like "clear all", "copy current day" and "paste". I also think an option to download the list of foods, at least the ones you used in the past, would be very welcome because being depandant on being connected to the internet to log in food is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, it's a grat app but just lacks some things.

Y70%
by Y####:

This is an excellent app. As a vegan I like to be able to get some idea of my nutritional intake on a daily basis and this is perfect. Up to now I've been using Samsung health and it's very linitedbregarfing vitamins etc!!

Great features (export to excel, nutritional information, etc), but does not contain a lot of New Zealand, South African or Australian products/measures in its database.

Y70%

Doesn't save my settings on which nutrient targets I want shown/hidden. Some ingredients I feel are incredibly common don't seem to be in the app system.

Holy Cow! Wowwee! Superb! For real, I've tried about 10 different apps and and was so unimpressed that I was on the cusp of creating my own when I came across Cron-O-Meter. This is the one I was looking for. It is flexible and comprehensive. I tie it to my Google Fit and it factors my activity into my nutrition and calorie requirements. It is fantastic! I still have a few suggestions tho. 1)Let me specify a weight loss target higher than 2 lbs a week. Don't hold me back! I know you want people to be reasonable with their weight loss. So say that, and then let us do what we want. Red-warning flag waiving is fine. Lack of capability is not. 2)Let us use macro targets and nutritional ranges in combination. So, right now if I want my macro split to be 50:20:30, and also to specify a carb minimum of 130 grams... I can't do it. I want to be able to do that. ☺️ 3)Let me set the default unit of measure for serving to gram. I weigh all my food, so it's always going to be by the gram. Other than those quibbles this is everything I wanted! So great!!!

The app is functional and allows for granular control of your diet tracking. The support staff are great. A recent update contained some bugs, and they were quick to respond and correct the issue. It took less than 24 hours to get a fix.
