Voiptester: Network Test Tool

I ran this program to test the Wi-Fi suitability at my mother's retirement home. Well it didn't shut off for whatever reason and in one day it consumed 8 gigabytes of my cellular data plan!!!!. Not acceptable. Obviously I uninstalled it and now warn you all about this.

Fix this and I'll give a 5 star

This is hopefully a bug, but there are few applications which are worth that investment. I didn't realize this until I hit my data limit 6 days into my account cycle with 1.6 GB use from this app alone. Sigh ...

Good app but I would prefer it showed kbps instead of kBps or give the option and also an option to control how much data is used when testing though it uses less than ookla only goes to a German(I think) server.

Zenfone 2. Ran once out of a dozen times. Kept crashing. Hope it gets fixed soon. will keep for now.

Not just a great diagnosis tool, this also wakes up my horrid data network when its flappy network stops. Seems the RTP generation slaps it into submission. Thanks dev, what's your tipple?

It only gets 3 stars because this great tool only tests my connection to Germany. I need to evaluate my systems which are local. This tool cannot evaluate a private voip network. Configuration ability request.

Yep. Very good. Please ad a server or hostname select option in the next version to be " best ever " in this class

excellent application. would be very interesting if you could selecting the server.

No scrolling of any info screens. Cannot read full displays. Intended for larger screen devices but allowed me to install on an lg motion. Couldn't fully evaluate because of programming short falls.

Should add ability keep history of tests.

I had an idea of what I was wanting in an app yet every one I installed was gone within the hour.. Too simple and stating obvious informationz or very extensive with all kinds of things (most I dont know) telling about phone and wifi and signals and all you can imagine!! I'm so glad I came across this app today and gave it a try.. Its a clean and easy to read testing and results.. The help & error codes included in the app is excellent.. Any questions were answered & understandable right there in the app..

Great tool for implementors or users of VoIP, a very nicely done application that clearly fills a void. Function request: MOS score and US based server

But let me specify my VOIP host, who cares about the default you hard coded into the app. Come on....

Give us the ability to specify the host we are trying to test thruput to. Good start tho
