About Feedmesh

Feedmesh isn't the first feed aggregator on the web and likely won’t be the last, but it's different. Feedmesh keeps reading simple and fast. Much like chapters in a book, feed sources are kept separate from one another. Because of this, Feedmesh allows you to focus better on what you are reading since you have a good context about the article source. Moving from one article to another, all from the same feed, accomplishes that goal. There are no fancy algorithms, and there doesn't need to be. Feedmesh doesn't to try guess what you want to read, it just provides you a list of new articles in reverse chronological order.

Feedmesh is built for busy people who want to glance through stories and dig in when they see something that interests them. If you’re like us, you want to scroll down one page and see what you missed in the past few hours across all your feeds, and that’s it. There aren’t a lot of moving parts on the front end and that’s by design to accomplish that goal.

Feedmesh is powered by RSS and is an open system. You can add any, and as many, RSS feeds as you want, or search for something based on keywords or topics if you don't know the URL of the RSS feed you want to add. We also allow you to import your RSS feeds from another service via our website.

With Feedmesh, we are hoping to fill the gap left by RSS readers of days gone by, where users demand simplicity and an easily understandable visual experience.

Additions and updates planned for future releases include:
- Offline access to articles and ability to schedule synchronization of offline content
- Option to save articles for reading later
- Option to download images and fetch full-text only when connected to wifi
- An overall darker theme option

Please Note: Feedmesh does NOT integrate into third party aggregators such as Feedly. We currently do not have plans to support these services. We apologize for the inconvenience.

What are users saying about Feedmesh

The greatest comeback in Google Play history. This app arises from the ashes of Taptu to create the most powerful news combing application on Google Play. A serious app for any serious about news.

I'm an Ex-Pulse/Taptu user, and as of Today a Dedicated Feedmesh User. This Developer has Nailed It. If Your Reading Reviews looking for a News/Information App, Feed Aggregator, Feedmesh won't Disappoint. Excellent Design and Extremely User Friendly. Don't Leave without Giving Feedmesh a Try . Thanks Dev.

Now that Pulse is dead or ruined this takes its place very well! Great developer who replies to feedback!

U70%
by U####:

Finally. A better replacement for Pulse (that LinkedIn screwed up royally). Well done.

U70%
by U####:

Please add an open to internal browser mode. It's the one thing lacking in an otherwise great RSS reader.

U70%
by U####:

Finally a replacement for Pulse. Gets better every update!

Best one yet for me.

Fantastic app... Especially for those looking for a Pulse replacement.

Reminds me of Taptu, stunning work.

Best pulse replacement hands down

U70%

One of the better replacement for pulse but lacks offline mode.

C70%
by C####:

I've found this app last October 2015 when I knew that Pulse would change to rubbish app. And since day 1 as a beta tester the developer always listen to beta users to create such excellent app. It is even better than Pulse since it has smoother experience, battery usage friendly and of course the same layout as old pulse. Today 5 Feb 17 update os the best so far it made browsing feeds seemless and smooth..Thank you

In an earlier review I give this four stars, saying it was a great reader but had a few snags. Well since that review there have been numerous updates and I think it fully deserves 5 stars. Absolutely great app, does exactly what it says it does. One of very few apps I use every day. On top of this it's free and there are no ads!

This app used to be ok, but since the last update has become a buggy POS. Sometimes it won't start, and when it does it will typically crash after not too long (and let's not forget how glacially slow it is to load articles). I'm not using an old phone either, an HTC 10. If you're going to push an update, test the damn thing first.

Can you bring back the same card size for middle size cards..?

i still use this app. And this app is improving, I cant deny that they are great.

Seems like a familiar layout, maybe an app I had on my iPod touch. I like it. Looking forward to the offline saving of articles. For now saving to Pocket works very well. Not as many sources as Flipboard but the lack of ads more than makes up for it. Been using this app all morning and have found it's very easy on the battery, way more efficient then Facebook or Flipboard. One issue is hiding read articles seems to severely slow down the app. Needs a dark theme

U70%
by U####:

Thank god this came along. LinkedIn ruined Pulse so I, like many others, had to abandon it. Tried other apps like Feedly, but they just weren't the same. Feedmesh feels like the old Pulse that we all loved.

U70%
by U####:

Doesn't have a setting to "mark as read" when scrolling past an article from the list page. Can't unmark an article if you want to read it again later in context (which I'd rather do than save in a separate bookmarked articles area). No dark theme for reading at night. No single-line preview of articles; list view shows thumbnails and abbreviated titles only. Very slow to load; refresh can take forever -- sometimes requiring a force-stop and restart to actually load.

I was looking for a Pulse replacement after Linkedin destroyed that app and thank you Linkedin! This is not just a great replacement, its a better replacement. It does a better job of letting you create categories. New to using it and so far so good. These aggregators are much more efficient way of consuming content.

U70%
by U####:

Not much to say. Fills the void LinkedIn left when they royally screwed up the Pulse app. Use it EVERY DAY! But the updates have been slow. It has been a long time and offline support is still not available. Also missing night/dark theme mode. Could be a great app with some major updates.

U70%
by U####:

I really wish I did not have to enter a user name and password every time I want to open the app. It's a news app for crying out loud, not the nuclear codes. Is this really necessary?? So irritating.

U70%

Those are two words that gets a lot of attention. Emotions are stirred, and flashbacks of tearing separation, TWO OF THEM !, brings back tears of yesteryears. You better not be playing with users like us who have a traumatic past. Something we would rather forget. I'll take the challenge though, I can't resist. I'm sure the others can't resist too. Here's 5-stars in advance, and I'll be back in a day or two.

This is the only app out there that can serve as a replacement for Taptu. I've tried just about every news reader out there and this is the only one worth trying. It's not perfect yet, but it's better than anything else. Keep up the good work.

U70%
by U####:

This News reader is the best replacement for the old Pulse which used to be my favorite. Its still new but with a little more work it will be perfect. I would like to see the developer add the ability to copy and paste when using Feedmesh in a pc browser. Also please allow for wide screen mode when using a pc browser on a large wide screen monitor.

This app is terrific! Used Taptu until it was killed/died and then gReader until last week when it essentially died! My good luck! Found FeedMesh and can't be happier!

Former Pulse users welcome to your new home, I know you were suffering, you gave up your hopes, you were blaming LinkevIL but now it's all fine :P Still few improvements needed here and there, saving articles functionality, ANSI/Unucode for Cyrillic languages but it gets there in no time. » To developer: Mate you're wicked! Thanks from all of us

I use this app everyday. Worthy replacement of pulse! Only had it crash once or twice, but almost always bug free for me and very fast. Using a Nexus 6P

W70%
by W####:

Like pulse but so much better. Has auto readability which is awesome. Article don't controls are great.

U70%
by U####:

Brilliant alternative to Taptu/Pulse (both now discontinued) and a rare feed reader that utilises the very efficient tile/row/column design to scan a lot of stories at once. It's fast, allows you to easily open stories into a full browser of choice or mark them to read later. Best out there.

U70%
by U####:

I have been looking for a replacement of the classic version of Pulse for so long!! My only suggestion so far is to allow full text of the article to be downloaded and view within the app (no external link). A zoom and font auto resize on pinch as well would be nice to have. Slightly slower during refresh when hide read articles mode is on.

U70%
by U####:

I must have tried them all, but none could compare with Taptu & Pulse, until now. Thank you, dev!

U70%

I've been using this since before it was on the play store (as a downloadable apk). It's a very good replacement for pulse/taptu. Thank you for all your hard work on this app.

A customizable news aggregator without ads and bloat. Only thing I've found to replace Pulse

U70%
by U####:

The back button seems unable to exit the app, some characters appear as a bunch of question marks and I disliked the ui.

U70%
by U####:

It works as intended, but one of my feeds (GSMarena) hasn't been updated in days. Update: I'm done with it. One of my feeds is STILL having issues.

But slooooow, offline not reliable

U70%

As per other comments, finally an app that can replace pulse. It also allows both viewing and managing your feeds on a browser, which helps to quickly setup your feeds on a notebook instead

U70%

IMHO the best RSS reader out there. If you are looking for a good Pulse / Taptu replacement, look no further...This is what you want. Highly recommend.

I'm really enjoying this app. This is what I've been looking for to get my tech news. But, will you be adding widget support? Unless I've missed it. Thanks
