iMedic has been created by medical students, for medical students. Never before has an app been released specifically to cover the medical degree in the UK; iMedic has been designed to help you learn, help you revise, and when you're ready, help you test your knowledge with content from the full 5 years of medical school.
10,000+ FLASH CARDS - hand-written questions & answers conveniently split up into school years and system packs.
500+ ANATOMY GAME QUESTIONS - a timed anatomy game to help you brush up on your anatomical landmarks. Covers every system.
100+ HEART AND LUNG SOUNDS - with full descriptions of the pathologies behind them.
80+ OSCEs - comprehensive text instructions teaching you every OSCE station, and for the first time, a timed 'examiner' mode with full marking scheme
100+ RADIOLOGY IMAGES - x-rays, MRIs, CT scans showing common clinical findings and the pathophysiology behind them
This app is FREE of charge to all medical students - some areas are advert supported, which we have tried to make as unobtrusive as possible - these help pay for the server and future content.
We are currently developing further features:
MCQs - exam style questions covering all 5 years of the medical degree
QUICK REFERENCE CARDS - single paragraph cards covering every topic imaginable, easily and quickly searchable from within the app
ECGs - a handy guide to teach you how to decipher ECGs with examples for all common pathologies
MNEMONICS - a quick reference guide to medical mnemonics
FIRST USE - When you register and select your medical school year, the flash cards will be catered to your year. If you wish to revise previous year's content, simply select your chosen flash card packs from within the app settings.
Please note: When you log in for the first time, iMedic will download all necessary images and sounds to your phone. This is approximately 50mb.
