CurrencyFair Money Transfer

Thanks for this app. Widget with current rates and alerts would be nice.

App is pathetic. Crashes constantly, can't even upload the required documents without it crashing.

Sri Lanka is not available as a residential country. Poor app.. Useless

I love it. It does exactly what I want and no exorbitant bank fees. Sign in can be tricky but that is ultimately to our advantage.

The best way to send money with the less fees after ETH and bitcoins.

Even after enabling fingerprint login, the app requests a SMS verification code every time I try to log in, then says my credentials are incorrect after entering the verification code (it says credentials invalid, not username/password are incorrect - but they most definitely are correct). Just started using the service, and from what I can see the web app is great. The app however, is unusable for me as I can't even log in.

Doesn't have the full functionality of the website. You can only make an exchange at the current rate; you can't pick your own rate and you can't modify pending exchanges.

SMS verification every time you login is very annoying

This app no longer works....it opens and let's you log in, then simple closes before you can make any transactions. Very frustrating (using huawei p9 and android 7)

Makes you login with full username, password and code sent to your mobile every time you open the app or switch apps. Horrible. Easy to fix. Come on CF!

The code verification does not work so I can not login.

Every time you leave the app e.g. to look up a rate on your browser, it logs out and forces you to log in and re verify via your phone. Way too cumbersome and time consuming

Wasn't that bad except the lack of the market what made it somehow useless for exchange but still handy for an account check but login with Facebook - no way - won't share any money related data with Mr Zuckerberg...

For some reason stopped working cannot log in, can do nothing, what's going on?

Expected more to be honest. Currency Fair is a great way to exchange and transfer money internationally at competitive rates but this App leave a lot to be desired. No visibility of current market, can't cancel or change orders and you can only logout though the setting page. These are just a few issues I've discovered immediately on using the App. I'll use the website in future.

Currencyfair is great, but the app needs to show the full current market, which is the best feature of the currencyfair website. Currently there is no way to see your current order and its place in the market.

Great way to exchange currency cheaply. Fantastic savings over using banks. Impressive.

Please include the pending exchanges and current rates. The app is not very useful in its current state.

What's the point of using the app if the best feature of currencyfair is missing? Better using the browser

Taken a very good app and down graded to a mediocre app.

Useful to keep an eye on the balance, but would love to see the trends graph included, as it forces me to use the site rather than the app.

Used to work fine, now won't open since update.

I love currency fair, they made my transfers so easy.

You don't have Thai Baht or Philippine Pesos. Can't use it. Remitly, XOOM, TransferWise... All better solutions

Not great

As has been said, the app lacks the opportunity to specify your own exchange rate, as you can on the website.

Every time I try and login now, I have to view an SMS to get an authentication code. Then when I hit the CurrencyFair app again, I'm back at a point in the login process before I requested the code. So then I have to request a new authentication code to get the screen to put in the code. Meanwhile a new code arrives and the old one is invalidated. So now the login process logic is unworkable. Who tested this? Sack them. Uninstalled. Very disappointed. I could login last time I tried a few months ago.

Doesn't have all the currencies

A shame the app does not give access to the market place. It makes it pretty useless to me as I end up accessing CurrencyFair way more often from my computer.

Unfortunately after the last update, I'm not able to open the app anymore. Hope this will be fixed soon. It does not work after the last update either!

I use this quite a lot on the laptop, it's a pity the function is not available on the app

Awesome customer service

I subcribed and moved money into. I converted money in SGD to discover later that is impossible to move money to my hsbc uk SGD account. I then converted them in NOK and created a transfer to my NOK account. After 4 working days on the 2/3 promised transfer not executes yet. I wrote an email to support and never received an answer, I had to call. Currently I could only convert money in the original currency losing 3% and more for the change since when I exchanged. Also the bank is better.

I use the marketplace quite a bit so this app is not particularly useful to me without that functionality.

Since the latest update I can't receive the confirmation SMS despite multiple attempts so can't log in rendering this app a waste of space.

If I can't choose my exchange rate I need the full website. Sorry app is just no good without it.
