Love this app. This is an example of using social data and big data to provide another look at how you can provide information on commuting. Things I would change though, UI to scroll through twitter feed I don't like. Maybe use ViewPager to navigate to the next pane. You need to be able to go back in time so you can rate the train you are on. Tweet directly through app, add a hashtag to provide the user on what train you are on (might be hard due to 140 char)
Email or otherwise. The argument that this is for comms is weak: updates provide a more than adequate means of doing this.
Forcing me to sign up and sign in before I can even access the app is not a good user experience. Not even a explanation as to why you require my email address and what you plan to do with it. Uninstalled.
Looks good but it would be fantastic if this had a widget.
Unfortunately the lack of any landscape mode makes this very hard to use for any tablet. Shame, as the content and quality is very good. I would give this 5 stars if it did have landscape but it's just too difficult to use on a tablet at the moment.
needing to register via email to use? LAME not having London tube stations? LAME very limited app.
It's called CommuteLondon but doesn't include Tube/DLR services. However, it does offer places like Abercynon which, last time I checked, is about 4 hours from London by train. Looks good but is a bit pointless.
Add your route and it gives a great overview.
Shows me what I need when I need it. Nice touch adding customer ratings of trains.
A must-have for commuters!
