Dream Diary

I like the usefulness and security of this app but I would love to see a voice input option as my typing when I wake up is not great.. Also the categories are too limited, people, animals, love, common, etc, not always right for my dreams..

All this does is allow you to type your dreams down which you can do on a notebook app. Other dream apps highlight important bits of your dream and tell you what it means.

It s great it should have autosave though . but other than that I love everything about this dream diary it keeps my dreams safe and I have trouble remembering things but in here i I can open them and reread them for fun and try to interpret their meanings Plus this is still the best thing since paper and I love la la la love it

Very limited list of categories and no "none of the above" or "other" option. Needs a keywords function too so one can find common dream themes easily, but would be happy if there could just be more categories or I could add my own.

I downloaded this not only becuase of the ratings, but Just because it advertised that I can transfer to SD Card. I'd give it 4 ☆ possibly 5 ☆, if I can load a image for background per dream entry and Transfer this app to my ( Samsung 128GB EVO Micro SDXC up to 48MB/s with Adapter (MB-MP128DA/AM), I have Galaxy s5. Possibly pay for premium as well. Please help me. =}

Decided I needed a dream journal of some sort when i woke up this morning. This was a great choice. The only thing i couldn't do was set a passcode, which was strange. Someone else suggested adding another box, so there would be separate boxes for description/details, and what you think the dream meant. I think that would be perfect! I also think more options for the catergory of the dream would be helpful as well. And a box to put places or things that stood out to you, almost like tags.

I loved it, used it for years. Then it came time to get a new phone. I happily backed up two years of dreams onto my SD card and switched my phone. Then I learned that no matter what I did I couldn't import the dreams. I thought surely I must've screwed up and continued using it another year. Another new phone and another years worth of dreams lost. Now I have them saved on my pc as I try to find w way to decode the files.

I lost all my dreams and there's no way of getting them back. I figured it would've restored my old dreams once I redownloaded the app on my new phone but it's all gone. I'm so frustrated I lost all my dreams because I had so many. I trusted this app and now there's no way to remember or get my dreams back.

It was a while before I started using the app again but no matter what password I try I cannot get in, there isn't even an enter button. There should be a link where you can reset the password via email.

Bad, just bad, I used it for about a year and a half and that was a terrible decision, I saved my previous dreams in a backup and now that I'm on my new phone I cannot find the folder to put my backup into. Oh and at least for Galaxy S5 users there is no menu button therefore no way to get to the settings for this app. At all, there is absolutely no way to get into the settings on a Gs5, or it's really obscure. DO NOT USE.

This app is as simple as it gets. It does just what it says it does. Helps you keep a dream diary. I always thought keeping a physical diary was a drag, as if you wanna write down a dream at night, you'd have to get up and turn on the light. This app makes it a lot simpler.

Could you change it so that when you launch the app you go straight into the add dream function, or maybe a two choice between add dream or view dream. Then have the current date automatically added in the dream entry forms with the option to change the date if required. Just an idea to streamline the entry for adding dreams straight after waking. Instead of sleepily having to find today's date or remember what day it is. 5 stars if you can do this.

I love this app, it's so handy to keep track of crazy dreams so you don't forget them and funny to look back on them too. The only thing that could make this better is being able to create an account so you're able to save and back up dreams in case you have to change your device.

Great app! The only problem I had was switching to another phone. Importing data did not work. Another little problem are the categories because there could be more options.

add/delete my own catergories instead of being forced through the pigeon holes. This feature would also be useful to track recurring dreams. And it should save without a title because i pushed save and it didnt work after typing a long long time ):

All in all this is a great and helpful app. There could some more categories and possibly having security question would make it easier if you forget your password rather then having to erase all your dreams written down and start again.

A few bugs that can really annoy me and I do not like the mandatory title. Also, when I turn the phone to landscape view, everything I had written down is lost, which is a huge issue. Please fix.

Excellent. Just wish it had more categories. E.g. places. My dreams never fit the few categories that are listed. But that's a minor quibble. Really easy to use.

When my screen shuts off or I get a notification while writing my dream, it deletes everything I've written since I last saved it. Auto save would be helpful and also the categories are weird.

It needs to be more realistic. Dream meanings can be added to make it more useful.

As an avid dream recorder I fell in love with this app from the beginning. Simple structure calender, tap the date to record your dream. Worked perfect for my barely eyes open half dream state. 4/5 hands down. Buuuuuut. 1/5 because I accidently wiped my phone (thx htc for being so wipe friendly ): ) and lost an entire years worth of dreams. It needs some sort of back up or account to save your dreams permanently.

I don't need to assign a color to a dream every time. Optional would be better. Aren't most dreams in b & w anyway?

Let's me keep track of the dreams I remember and the date just by typing in my dream on the date it was dreampt by me.

I like the app with its color coding and types of dreams. I do wish that there is a way to search words commonly repeated in the dream entries

Needs an export feature, and the "back" button is on the right where the "save" usually is, so I keep erasing all of my text.

I like it because those dreams you have that you remember when you wake up can be wrote down and saved. Later you can look back at your Dream Diary and read about dreams you had along time ago, that you may have forgotten about. It's really cool.

Very good. I like how I can choose a color for certain "feels" for a dream. The category selection is ok, but best I've downloaded out of 4 apps. Dont kno bout character space, but keep it simple stupid ;)

I lost months of dreams. I don't see where you can export or import. I just tried to save a dream now it was gone when I reopened the app. There is no way to backup or restore anything if you ever have to reset or change phones.

Why is the save button and back button So close together :/ that's a problem when I type all that stuff n then it disappears..cool

I love this app. I've been using a dream diary for years now and have had to switch between phones. It would be really nice if you could export your dreams to a text document. And as other people have stated, it's rather annoying when you spend 5-10 minutes typing a dream, and it erases when you lock the screen. If you could fix that, the app would be perfect.

I like it . But you need to change the interface. The save and back buttons are right above the keyboard so i need to save every para for safety. Deleted one long dream description by mistake like that. Then i rewrote it skiping details....make it so that save and back aee away from the keyboard. Oh and you see in calendar view,days with entries have a purple dot. Thing is even if the dream has a red card by me.it will stull show purple dot so change it so it does not have same color as any of the color ca

Its a good app, but it could use a few more categories. Also it would be nice to be able to see all your dreams listed together instead of monthly.

Simple diary like function with ability to color code entry for no apparent reason and categorize into simplistic categories.

So many times I've accidentally hit the back button and lose everything thing I type. It is so annoying. Once it is fixed I'll rate 5 stars.

So far so good but what application can you use to open your backup? I tried a few common ones like Microsoft word and adobe..if not I'll just loose all my dreams which is horrific because I put a lot of effort into it...

This is perfect to have better dream recall without having to look for a pen and paper. I like how it keeps the dates and like how we can put our dreams into a category. 5 stars!

I always have dreams, but forget them soon after i wake up. Great app to just jot them down as soon as i wake up. Simple and great app.

Its set out like a calendar so its perfect to use, includes categories to put your dreams in. Simple to use and dreams are personal so it was the icing on the cake for me that the app has an optional lock on.

A perfect app for recording your dreams. I like the designs, layouts and functions. Just what I needed and it has a passcode even better! But maybe remove mandatory title? That's my suggestion!
