About DEWALT Tool Connect

Introducing DEWALT Tool Connect™ mobile app. Our smart solution to receive alerts about, connect with and control your Bluetooth® enabled DEWALT 20V MAX* batteries when paired with a compatible smart-phone or tablet. Once connected and within the Bluetooth® range, you can use the app to identify, enable/disable, and check your battery’s diagnostics.

CONNECT. CONTROL. ALERT™.

- New Tool Added : 20V MAX Bluetooth®-enabled Large Area LED Light**:
-> Remotely Turn On / Turn Off, Program Light with Scheduled times, Powered by 20V MAX and FLEXVOLT™ batteries or with AC extension cord.

- Get Control Over Your Bluetooth®-enable DEWALT Batteries:
-> Remotely monitor state of charge, enable or disable your battery packs. If you lend a battery pack, you can even control how long the pack can be used.

- Real-Time Battery Diagnostics:
-> Diagnostics on the Tool Connect™ app allow you to determine if your battery is too cold or too hot to operate properly. It can also alert you when the battery is finished charging, or in need of charging.

I just got the brand new DCB606 and the DCR025 the DCR is a Bluetooth radio, they're newest job site radio on the market, but for some reason doesn't work with the app, kind of disappointing, hope there is an upgrade for it. The DCB the new FlexVolt 20V 60V 6.0AH Lithium In battery is one of their most powerful batteries on the market, for $150 you think I could connect to it with my phone. Also hope the app upgrades to support these. Currently unable to use the app because I don't have devices that work with it. Looks like it could be cool app though.

Super slow on my LG5. Worked long enough to test disable feature but now not working when I go to enable...so now I have a battery I can't use until I figure this out...major loss in time and counting.

Tried this on an LG G5 and a Xperia Z3+ and it won't connect to brand new tools. Waste of money.

Requires invasive permissions such as view list of accounts and full Internet access and list of apps and receive data from Internet.

Been using it daily on my KitKat HTC M7, now it crashes. Resetting the app didn't help. On the other Note 5 and Z5 phoned I have around, I can't add the packs, they just don't pop up. So...yeah.

Worked fine on my Samsung S7 Edge and Note 7 but with my LG V20 it times out without ever turning the batteries on. Having 3 batteries as paperweights is unacceptable.

Cant open the app to even try this and after reporting this problem several times and getting no response back i think its a waste of time and money to buy batteries that your suppse to be able to track if the app doesn't work properly

The app does not fit all on my phone. You need to make it so it can scroll down when you are in the app because I know there's some things that are there but its not showing up on my phone on the app. Improve the range would be nice. Overall I think it's a good idea I just wish that would work better

The app is nice for what it does, however BT range limitations could be a problem. I'd like to see this running on a mesh network, where the charger is a hub and individual devices can relay status back to the phone app through multiple hops.
