Barometer app for Android devices with or without a barometric pressure sensor.
For devices equipped with a barometer, this application uses the Atmospheric Pressure measured by your phone to calculate the Sea Level Adjusted Barometric Pressure at your location. Temperature and Altitude, also used in the calculation, are obtained by matching your position against weather and altitude survey databases. These values are more reliable than the values returned from your GPS chip and your phone's temperature sensor and may result in a more meaningful barometric pressure reading.
Devices without a barometric pressure sensor will show the barometric pressure at your location by using your GPS and internet connection.

Despite changing the units format in 'settings', several times, it will not display inHg. It only shows mb. So, this is useless to me. Uninstalled. edit: No, it shows mb. Nowhere does it show inHg. Wouldn't have stated it doesn't show inHg, if it did.

It's a great idea, but I have to reboot my phone every time I want to update the reading. If I don't reboot, the readings never change. I wouldn't recommend this app

I live this app and purchased years ago. I continue to have issues with the app being able to find a GPS signal. My phone finds a GPS within seconds using Google maps/other GPS apps. Yet in the same exact place this app just sits for ever. Only way to fix is to use another GPS app to get signal then it will sometimes find a lock. Please fix. Google nexus 5 running stock marshmallow

I understand the app would be picking up reported data. However I can't even figure out where it thinks it is reporting from. My husband next to me downloaded a different app and was getting drastically different results.

The Ads are fine, but a permanent mute option would be appreciated. Some of those Ads come through blaring. Also, could you extend the history? Maybe add 1 week, 2 week, and 1 month options. Thanks for a great app!

Like multifunctionality. Good for heads up on whats up on weather situations. I like being ahead of the weather gurus of the news reports. Have to be outside to get a satelite reading tho. Gives consistently accurate readings

Disregard earlier comment on using network. CPU-Z app shows straight phone sensor read-outs. Barometric pressure matches. Altitude is pulled from GPS. After setting baseline, GPS can be turned off. Phone temp is useless and only tells about battery, so it pulls that from network.

Over all a very nice little application. Gives adjusted barometric readings for your location, your latitude and longitude and a graphing feature as well. With my chronic pain condition, this really helps me to understand just how much these pressure fronts are interfering in my health on a regular basis. Thank you!
