About LCBO Search

Search for products in the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) stores. Find the locations that have the product you are looking for. Only useful in Ontario.

This is not a store locator. It will locate the closest stores to you after you select your product (if it has the product!)

Ads can be turned off through the entry screen's menu.

I used to use iPhone LCBO app that allows to scan the barcode and return the product in one step. Would be nice to have that feature incorporated here.

Force close all the time.

App does exactly what it says, does it well and does it fast. Awesome! The UI could really use some work. I'd also like to see the City in the store listings.

A70%
by A####:

• Clunky interface. • Annoying ads … (but aren't they all?) I was looking for an app to allow store inventory searches using the product LCBO Item Number.

Z70%
by Z####:

Great app, please add store hours or/and telephones

Z70%
by Z####:

Does exactly as it says, faster than anything else. Search for a product, and it tells You where and how many. Simply amazing in a pinch.

Z70%
by Z####:

Lot of things need to be done, 4 stars for potential. Needs to integrate maps and 'my location' as well as store location. Good start though

R70%
by R####:

Good app, implement GPS seemlessly in future release?

Z70%
by Z####:

Wish there was browsing and some pictures

L70%

Awesome app! Can't wait till the next release... maybe add GPS functionality?

F70%

So much potential here. Great idea. GPS or simply saving your location choice would be great.

A70%

Completely useless

Not an everyday app but very effective, thanks dev

W70%

Needs to be able to scan bar codes

Z70%

Seemed to work the first time I ran it. Weeks later when I actually have a reason to use it, the app crashes each time it's started

O70%
by O####:

Creates two application shortcuts when installed.... not sure what that's about.

X70%
by X####:

No frills, does the job. Thanks for the app!

X70%

Aint pretty but its easy & effective

Y70%
by Y####:

Ghetto looking but works fine. Dont change what aint broke

U70%
by U####:

Good for what it is, but needs a wider range of search options and more accurate linking to store locations via Google maps.

R70%
by R####:

Needs to support higher res screens and be location aware

C70%
by C####:

Location based searches or at least remembering a default location (rather than constantly entering it) would be huge

U70%
by U####:

Not nearly as good as the LCBO's own app that runs on iphone but adequate.

U70%
by U####:

Functionality-wise it's OK but User Interface is a way below expectations. For example, Product List is a unix shell dump. Same for the list of Favorites.

simple app that makes it easy to find the closest LCBO that has what I'm looking for. I agree, it's not pretty but it is easy to use and works well (a refreshing change in the app world). Just tested with LCBO main web site and got same quantity results (previous problems appear to have been solved). Search by product code or product name works. Better than the LCBO main site, this app lists stores with stock by distance from my location. So easy to find closest store. It seems to remember the last postal code I entered. Might be nice if it could remember multiple locations or used phone's current location (a search without entering a location thinks I'm on the other side of Toronto) but hey, the developer does this gratis. The favourites list with my regular tipples is handy. thanks

It lets you search store inventory. It works very well. What more needs to be said?

U70%
by U####:

Great app for remembering what you like at the LCBO

U70%
by U####:

It's not the prettiest app, plain text, long search results lists. But if you spell your product name correctly it'll narrow it down nicely and lets you know how many are available at stores in your general vicinity. So, it does what it says it does. And yes, it does partial searches, but you may get hundreds of results.
