Dumb kitten enables you to use map as your primary interface to do your yelp search. Map is implemented using Google map interface which allows you to search for things that are related to your every day life. Things like food, interests, gathering, stores, entertainment, movies, etc.

Dumb kitten's map interface gives you a clear view of geographical information associated with the search results from Yelp.

Yelp was founded in 2004 to help people find great local businesses like dentists, hair stylists and mechanics. Yelp had an average of approximately 120 million monthly unique visitors in Q4 2013. Yelpers have written over 53 million local reviews.

In addition to reviews, you can use Yelp to find events, lists and to talk with other Yelpers. Every business owner (or manager) can setup a free account to post photos and message their customers. Yelp makes money by selling ads to local businesses - you'll see these clearly labeled "Yelp Ads" around the site. Paying advertisers can never change or re-order their reviews.

Yelp uses automated software to recommend the most helpful and reliable reviews for the Yelp community among the millions we get. The software looks at dozens of different signals, including various measures of quality, reliability, and activity on Yelp. The process has nothing to do with whether a business advertises on Yelp or not.

In addition to Yelp, FourSquare will be integrated into dumb kitten in the future. Foursquare is a location-based social networking service. Users "check in" at venues using a mobile website, text messaging or a device-specific application by selecting from a list of venues the application locates nearby.Location is based on GPS hardware in the mobile device or network location provided by the application, and the map is based on data from the OpenStreetMap project. Each check-in awards the user points and sometimes "badges". The user who checks in the most often to a venue becomes the "mayor," and users regularly vie for "mayorships."
