Fireplaces on TV - Chromecast

I couldn't get it to work... it just kept the loading bar up without ever getting to 100% or casting the picture

Has been improved. Would like to see longer audio and video loops with better quality.

Need some more options though and maybe all backgrounds one app!

This is the answer to having a warming TV screen avoiding YouTube stuttering etc. Works a treat!

Loop is too small, very evident by the sound, also issues with volume, must use Chromecast App to alter volume, could be better.

Perfect. Amazing video and audio, and no background data usage - what more could you ask for?

Very relaxing and hypnotic. Mine works great while I listen to great works of Beethoven, Chopin, and Brahms.

Looks good but I immediately got a refund because there is no sound control. So if you have your amp set at a certain volume for listening music the fire sound is loud and annoying and cannot be turned down.

Very relaxing to view, even better when combined with an ice cold adult beverage and a hottie wife to chat with after a long arduous day of dodging jet blast, aircraft prop blades and helicopter tail rotors... Att. Developers: How about something like this with a severe thunderstorm with lots of lightning and thunder? Or maybe even a approach/departure views of a major international airport with high tempo air ops?

Looks great, and sounds real. Sounds so real I dreamt my house was on fire and i had to save everyone inside. Only improvement would be volume control.

Why do I have to use the Google Chromecast app to control volume when casting the fireplace? It would be nice to be able to control it from the volume buttons like with any other cast app. Also, the loop is literally only for seconds long.

Needs volume control in app and it sounds as if the sound file starts a second instance creating an echo or loop like effect.

One fireplace has an annoying pop sound that repeats quite often making it sound unnatural and the other fireplace is almost perfect apart from the noticeable visual glitch when the loop repeats

It is very easy to see the loop and it is too short. Would have had 5* if not for this which i think is the main part of the app...

Works well and looks good, but it's too short of a loop and you can quickly hear and see it repeating

At least let it loop after a minute instead of a few seconds.

Wish it was the full video instead of a short loop clip.

No junk in this app. Smooth and easy to use and the picture and sound is great . love it.

Great app. Works well on my chrome cast.

The campfire has a distracting loop reset after maybe 15 sec, not smooth. The fireplace was good but the looping sounds (chirping sort of) became very irritating after a bit in the background.

No toggle sound. The second of the two fires is dreadful... As many others have already complained about, the video jumps every 5-10 seconds so there's no seamless loop but a very obvious clunky restart of footage! I prefer the free ones on YouTube which show logs disintegrating over several hours. Refunded.

Sounded ok for a few seconds, then there is an awful hall effect that makes it sound like an angry robot eating lunch. Loop didn't seem long.

I didn't like the app because the fireplace videos looped after a few seconds. Fine for the background, but not what I was looking for.

Was really excited about this app. Total let down, won't work on my S5. Keeps saying I'm not connected to the cromecast when I am connected. Fix this bug and I'll be happy please

app runs continuously even whn wifi is off.

Was working until chromecast device updated itself today. Now the sound stops playing after the first loop. Please fix.

It's got 2 options and both are on about a 5 second loop or something. If it was maybe a 10-20 minute loop with color options and various sound effects to choose from I'd easily pay $10. I suppose the difficulty with an app like that would be the size. This one should be free.

Looks great. The camp fire style has an annoying white flicker near the top, but the fire place is perfect!
