Duplicate/Similar Image Finder can detect all duplicate images (photos or pictures) located on your Android device. Application scans selected folders & sub folders, and detects not only exact duplicates, but also those images which are visually similar (based on configurable visual similarity setting - similarity percentage).
Main purpose of Duplicate/Similar Image Finder is to find all duplicate and similar images and help you organize your image collections without manually browsing through thousands of photos visually comparing all your photos. This way you can save valuable disk space as well as precious time. App is provided free of charge, with optional advertising removal charge.

In order to be efficient, we're using very advanced algorithms to find these duplicate images. We mimic and replicates exactly what a human would do in order to find images which are comparable in a visual way. Duplicate/Similar Image Finder can identify such duplicate images even if they are in different image formats and sizes.
In order to allow higher degree of configuration, Duplicate/Similar Image Finder allows you to specify a percentage of image similarity that will be used during the scan. Higher the percentage, less similar (duplicate) photos will be found. As we've mentioned earlier, once the scan process is finished, our app will display all duplicate images categorized into groups and then let you to select duplicate images for either preview or deletion.

Works great. But you have to have all your pictures in separate folders. Like , "the zoo", or ," vacation in Florida". It makes the process a lot easier. Also do not do an entire scan of your SD card/Ext SD or it will find duplicates of non-pictures. The way to do it is select individual folders for it to go a lot quicker and smother. I had to learn the hard way. It may take some time but its well worth it.

First, there's only 2 choices. Scan spesific folders on the INTERNAL STORAGE, or Scan THE ENTIRE SD card. There should be a choice to scan spesific folders in the SD card, and perhaps to scan the entire internal storage. Secondly, GET FASTER!!

i'm using Asus tablet... and i try an option for nothing because ALL OF MY PICTURES get dubbed in Asus Studio... but there's no double anywhere because i've search every where!!! THERE IS NO FREAKING DATA DUBBED!!! This is the photo progran fault, Bkose if i delete one or another dubbed photo... i have deleted both!!! It's annoying as hell, but by chance, it doesn't get trippled! I am doing this scan for nothing!!! Dubbed photo remain at 0!!! This program work, but not 4 my kind of problem!

Note that you can easily select subfolders, something too many image apps can't do, it seems. Works with just the folder or subfolder you select, to keep run time reasonable. Can take a while (minutes), if you're checking, say, a few hundred images. Fails to update number of duplicates found as it runs; sticks at zero. Very glad to have it! However... It's installed, but not listed, nor does its icon appear. Had to start via its Google Play page!

This app has wonderful features and its very simple to use, making it a wonderful tool to have, however I've tried different ways as instructed to pull up all of the duplicates on my phone. out of all of the pictures that I have on my phone which number in the Thousands, at least a couple hundred of those are Dups. It only pulled up 6 and out of those 6 (3) weren't even mine and I don't even know where they came from. so as I said before this would be an awesome app if it actually worked.

Asks that you download "open cv manager" but after doing so, still does not find it. Uninstalled/reinstalled twice, rebooted, checked for updates... still doesn't work.

I found this app to be highly accurate, FREE and easy to use. The down side is its slow and tedious to delete items. But it's accurate and it does work. I'd recommend it to all. I tried many and this 1 is the best.

Bleh UI . Barely works with wuick scan (does not detect at all). Takes forever when you set sensitivity to even 20 and slows down my S5 . Clean Master has a built in diplicate removal tool to it and it works smoothly .

My removable storage has hundreds of duplicate pictures on it, but this app doesn't have the ability to scan the extremal SD folder

Found no duplicates on an SD card with over 6,000 pics in which there are hundreds of duplicates. Uninstalling. Retried and found that it cannot scan an external SD card. It only works on the internal one. Wish I hadn't paid for this.
