لقد كانت أخلاق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مستمدة من القرآن الكريم ، ذلك أن السيدة عائشة رضي الله عنها لما سُئلت عن أخلاق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قالت لسائلها :
أما تقرأ القرآن ؟
قال : بلى.
فقالت : كان خلقه القرآن .
