Thermostat

It's a good app. Easy to understand, very intuitive. Missing two things. It could use a good widget to put on my Android home screen. That would earn the fourth Star. But for the fifth star, it needs Alexa and Google Home compatibility. (Alexa first.)

I have had this app and it's predecessor for 1.5 years and is very unreliable. Crashes almost daily lately and have to constantly updated password. Also have had to replace through actual thermostat twice when it died during 2 heat spells. On hold for over an hour with my powered service due to lack of personnel and illustrates the number of problems occurring. I am considering purchasing the Nest version. Goes economic mode too often.

I haven't had any problems with this app like others. It's been flawless for me. I only wish the features were more dynamic, like if the outside temp is between "x" degrees & "y" degrees then adjust the inside temp to "z" degrees.

I'll give it zero if I could. this should be a smart thermostat. it goes on eco mode always not often. what's the use of user temp setting. when it goes to energy saving mode you have the option to opt out right...wrong...after minutes of opting out. when you tried to login again and check it's again doing the energy saving mode! I believe we the end users should have the ultimate control. my worse experience was waking up at night sweating because my thermostat was set more than what I programmed!

Problems as described by most everyone else who reviewed the app. Installed in August 2016, I've had to reset the password more than 4 times. Since resetting the password option is not always working, I've had to delete then reinstall the app at least 6 times. Instructions on how to set the app would be helpful. The concept is great, it just needs to have the problems worked out of it. I've saved only $8. Is it really worth the hassle.....on cold nights when you don't want to get out of bed to turn the heat on,yes. Otherwise, I'm not so sure it's worth the hassle.

Today (2/8) there was an Internet outage and when it came back on the thermostat defaulted to 75° heat. I have been turning the thermostat off in the day because it's been warm. When I came home from work it was 78° in my house. This is a terrible default setting. I can't sign in again (12/19). It's a great idea but this thing crashes all of the time. Once again it won't let me sign in at all. Every time I put in my password it gets deleted and the sign in is canceled. It won't even boot up now, seriously, is it broken? UPDATE My Husband tried to sign in on the app from his phone and got the same error message, it deleted the password. I can't reset my password either, it won't send the request.**update, tonight I can't change the temperature from the app.

Reduced rating. Unable to log in. Just keeps getting worse. Has started randomly setting the temperature to 81. Not the "Eco" power saving mode, simply re-sets with no explanation.

Updated 9/14/16: Since having installed in May, the app says we saved $1. Five months later, it's still buggy. A dollar saved, but a whole lot spent in frustration. 5/15/16: After having this installed for about two weeks, usage has actually gone up slightly, not down as promised. The problem is that the temp setting moves up and down by itself and runs even when you don't need it. The only good thing about this is that you can control it from your phone, but other than that, it's really useless.

Clock errors causing excessive run times and running while not at home. Then it doesn't run when I am. That combined with bogus "energy events" that override my settings forced me to remove.

Spent the last month trying to get the service started in my name. Spent hours, literally, on hold only to be cut off time and time again. Finally got the account set up and app downloaded. A day later, still can't log into the app. Going to get a NEST tomorrow. NV Energy sucks

Error 70010, it doesn't even let me log in anymore.... seriously?

but it only works some of the time. otherwise it forgets about its "away" setting or doesn't recognize it initially. or won't even load the app.

Everyday its been crashing and not been able to log in had to keep on resetting the password especially at night it wont work its getting sooo annoying

Maybe you could spend some of the money you price gouge from us to hire someone who can code?

I am unable to sign in today to check my temperature at home.

Usually works great. But now it won't log in. It says there is an Error

The app crashes and the thermostat does its own thing with the temperature even though I have my own settings programmed in.

Not only allows them to do their interventions but it's also programmed to adjust anytime it wants

Constant reliability issues. Poor customer service.

While the interface is usable, it really doesn't matter if you cannot log on. It used to log on all of the time, but now I'm lucky if it logs on once a day. The problem is really not with the app, but with the mPowered server. Please fix the problem so we can actually use this app.

This app constantly closes and has issues with logging in. Can't hold a temp and will adjust to what nv energy thinks is reasonable. If I can't get the service promised why should I pay for the service?

The app was working fine a few days ago but now it struggles to load and then refuses to sign in. It gives an error 70010. Not much help when I want to control or check my AC while I am at work.

Irritating app to use. Constantly signs you out and more often than not has issues preventing logging in. No excuse for such glitchy operation.

This app keeps reloaded, can't sign back on and adjust air to a ridiculous degree. Please fix!!!!

Won't let me log on, so can't control my thermostat. It's a bit annoying when I get home and my house is 77 degrees. Wish the app would start working again...
