Iroko

Foi o primeiro filho de Oxalá e é considerado um dos mais velhos dos Orixás. Iroko está associado a uma árvore que possui suas próprias características: determinação e inflexibilidade. Existe uma lenda que conta que Iroko foi a única árvore que teria sobrevivido no planeta, devastado por uma seca que ocorreu por causa de uma briga entre o Ceú e a Terra. Por ser muito grande, suas raízes são bem enterradas no solo, dando estabilidade. Sua copa se encontra nas alturas do ceú.

No Brasil, a árvore de Iroko é a gameleira branca. Os filhos deste Orixá procuram ser estáveis em todas as situações.

No trabalho, são dedicados e por isso conseguem impor muito respeito. Mas no relacionamento pessoal, algumas vezes acabam se metendo em situações constrangedoras, pois acreditam apenas em si próprio e não dão oportunidade dos outros opinarem.
