Cannot find soundstage player

Need volume control for speaker, lack volume control when connected to TV when hooked up to digital optic. Or they need to make a remote for speaker. I have an S2 speaker. To update I ended up taking the speakers back cause of lack of remote support, traded out for a Bose instead with a remote. You would think these guys would try to get remote support quickly but no response and terrible service do not buy Monster speakers til they fix this issue they do not support digital optic volume control.

Advertised as wireless, but WiFi connection never connects. Customer support can only read from instruction booklet. Don't buy these speakers.

Doesn't work with Google Play Music. The android app never stays connected to the two speakers I bought. App doesn't seem to work with os marshmallow yet. Bluetooth works on one speaker at a time. But then what's the point.

Want FRUSTRATION....get this!! To parrot other reviewers...yes, they are nice speakers and can work well as a single bluetooth speaker. Forget about using them as a "home wireless system". Speakers refuse to connect to wireless and stay connected. This is only the beginning of the frustration in getting the "system" to function at all. After literally hours of frustration, I got two speakers to work only to have the music abruptly start and stop erratically from the wirelessly connected speaker. Unless you love more frustration in your life, steer clear of this poorly designed "system" I was looking for a system to replace my Sonos system that I was never that impressed with. The sound quality is better for sure, but the usability is only improved by Soundstage's bluetooth option. Otherwise, the usability is even less than Sonos. For example, I am forced to use bluetooth as the primary entry into the system because I have a year's subscription with Deezer and hope to stay with them. The only way to get that to play is using bluetooth from my pad. The only service you can play directly from Soundstage is Spotify. This is extremely limiting. Many other HUGE flaws.

After trying out Sonos, I was very impressed to really only need this app to set up speakers on WiFi. I control my music services through their own apps. Much more convenient! ...but I did have to mess with it for an hour to figure out how to do it. Couldn't find help on Soundstage site or spotify.

1. No volume control while on digital. 2. Cannot switch between modes through the app. The speakers sound great but the app needs more help.

A well-designed app which for the most part does what it says it will do, but only after learning the when and how it's WiFi/Bluetooth work - which for me continues to be less simple than the good folks at Monster say it is. Streaming services initiated outside the app? No go with WiFi. You must switch to Bluetooth. Then there is the apparent buffer scenario that when you power OFF your mobile device, the music continues playing. I have been "practicing" the app's functions every day to figure it all out.

Doesn't work with Pandora. Bluetooth range and sound quality are horrible. 15 seconds to change tracks. I could go on and on ... Don't waste your time or money on this
