Welcome to the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, the site of our nation’s beginning. The park contains three of Florida’s most important historic sites. These include a large Timucua Indian town, the original settlement and fort of St. Augustine, established at the Timucua town by Pedro Menendez de Aviles in 1565; and the original church of Nombre de Dios, the first Franciscan mission. The program you have just downloaded will allow you to interact with the park like never before.
