La Sociedad Española de Otorrinolaringología y Cirugía de Cabeza y Cuello (SEORL-CCC) nace en 1949, oficialmente, con el objetivo de reunir y agrupar a médicos con interés en la Otorrinolaringología, para fomentar al estudio teórico y práctico de la especialidad y de aquellas otras áreas científicas que tengan relación con esta rama de las ciencias médicas.

Para conseguir estos fines los dos vehículos principales son el congreso anual, en el que se reúnen aproximadamente la mitad de nuestros socios, que además de ser un foro de encuentro óptimo, mantiene en los últimos años un excelente nivel científico, y el Acta Otorrinolaringológica Española, nuestra Revista Oficial, en la que se publican los estudios más destacados dentro de nuestra especialidad. The Spanish Society of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (SEORL-CCC) was created in 1949, officially in order to gather and bring together physicians interested in Otolaryngology, to promote the theoretical and practical study of the specialty and those other scientific areas relevant to this branch of medical science.

To achieve these aims the two main vehicles are the annual congress, which meets about half of our partners, in addition to being a forum for optimal meeting, held in recent years scientific excellence, and Spanish Otorrinolaringológica Act our Official Journal, in which the most important studies published within our specialty.
