The app is excellent set it up turn ur favorite music on (pandora/i heart radio )and hit play on the tabata and go. You dont even have to look at your phone until your work put is complete BOOM

Used it for my interval running today whilst listening to music. Whistle and gongs bit too loud. Gonna try Impetus app as can set variable intervals which i need on some runs. Still fantastic for most uses though.

W70%
by W####:

No need to keep the screen from locking and the large numbers are easy to read. The flexibility of interval length and rest.length allow me to use progression to go from short beginner intervals to long advanced training

N70%
by N####:

This app is great! It plays over my music so I can still listen and hear when I should change. Only complaint is if you exit the app, it stops counting. When I go to change music, the app stops counting down.

N70%
by N####:

Need to add a different chime at the end of each tabata SET! Hard to tell when the set has ended and it is time to switch exercise.Otherwise, everything else is great... Setup, visuals, and sounds.

N70%
by N####:

This is a good app. There are several options but sadly you can't silence the countdown of the last second( s). The available sounds are weird for me. I just want a normal beep.

Exactly what you need from an interval app. Set prep, rest and work intervals for your tabata and no. Of times through with a cool down. I got the paid version so I could save numerous different tabatas without having to set it up each time. Really good interval timer works in background as well so no issues with interfering with my music when I'm training.

N70%
by N####:

If you could save multiple tabatas I would have given it 5 stars. But I am not going to pay for it if it just takes a little longer to set it up for each work out

N70%
by N####:

Very good apps.. maybe instead of just "finish" by the end of workout you can write something else like compliment for d hard work.. even if u dont its already a very good apps.. thank you..

N70%
by N####:

I know this is primarily for interval training for which it is ideal, however I am using it for a injury recovery program. It is ace for timing those stretch intervals as well as exercise sessions. Can't fault it

by F####:

When I try to set another it wants me to purchase upgrade. Maybe I just dont know how to work it.

N70%
by N####:

With my normal clock or timer I would have to set it up each time I was doing a rep. With this app you can set any amount of sets and it allows you to set even the preparation time, break time and work time. I love it.

by N####:

Was great before, now it's excellent, thank you! The black background for AMOLED displays is a good idea, but as a compromise why not switch to coloured text on black so you still get the colour feedback at a glance when in this mode?

Great update! Wish there was a paid version to remove ads and support the devs.

Searching this type of timer ... Thank you

Fucking perfect. Works great. Thank you for taking my suggestion on naming the sections on the workout :)

Great app, it's simple, east and straightforward. It's helped me a ton

Excellent app

Simple but effective timer. This is exactly what I was looking for after downloading a few random other timers. This timer is easy to use and set up. It has a very large count down which is perfect and I've bought the pro version allowing me to have voice assistance which is great, especially whilst wearing bluetooth headphones. I wouldn't bother with any other timer apps, this is recommended!

Best Interval Timer I have tried to date! Clean and simple UI. I am a huge fan that it incorporates rest periods between sets AND between rounds. Set it for your entire workout and you should be good to go! No more resetting after rounds like I have experienced with other apps. I also like that the app audibly counts down once you have 3 seconds left to go. I've only used it once and I'm stoked! (I rarely write reviews too!)

R70%
by R####:

Excellent app for interval timing activities in general, not just HIIT. I use it for meditation practices that have a number of sections or parts -- each part becomes an interval. I have some feature suggestions: (a) optionally tie sounds (and maybe other settings) to titled tabatas; (b) allow custom sounds; (c) allow an irregular series of intervals, not all the same value, like 30, 45, 20, 30 seconds; (d) in conjunction with that, enable names for the intervals.

This is the best. Wondering if you've had enough rest between sets!?? No more. Spend a couple bucks to get the full version and you can set for each workout. Deadlift squats need longer like 2min you can set one for that chew shoulder back only need 60 90sec. I have one for each including combination workouts like a chest back day. Anyways it's the greatest app. Oh and of course tabatas will kick your butt

I've been using this app for hiit training for a month now. Wonderful results... Use it for boxing(bag), elliptical trainer, rowing machine, arm rower, stationery bike and a climbing trainer. I've used it for speed walking and inclined situps. I'm still developing my weight lifting to hiit training. No end in site to hiit and this app makes it all work so well...

And just was waiting for me to touch the screen, what's wrong?... our was working fine before I upgrade from android 4.4.2 to 6, and my phone is Huawei honor 4x. I really like it but I don't want our to randomly don't ring, please help

by G####:

Super easy to use, handy and loads quickly have already recommended it for tabata or timed workouts. The fact the final second are sounded makes it better because you know it's about to stop and not just at the end; ( I miss the finish buzzer normally but not with this app). I also like the fact it keeps going even if the screen is locked

First time I heard about it I was elated to try it. Using it is thus far has proven to be the best! ❤ timing of the adds are perfect and because it doesn't annoy me I am more prone to dl a few. Cheers

Best timer app around. I've tried most of them on Android and this one is the best. Simple. Elegant. Customisable. I paid to support the dev and also so I can have multiple timers. I use this for everything, including HIIT and physio rehab. The only flaw is the lack of Android Wear compatibility. As an app, though, I still give it 5 stars. Highly recommended!

N70%
by N####:

Basic app that does the essentials without all the bloat. One can hear a countdown (in dings) before the actual buzzer goes off. One can see the timer ON the lock screen! Turn down or keep buzzers loud to however loud the music is, etc. Happy 2 pay the 2.50$.

Excellent app. I showed friends that have iPhones and I haven't seen this for them. They are jealous, it is so good. Is it available for iPhone? Well done! Also thank you for your reply. Please let me know when this is available for iPhone so I can show them how much I really love this app.

This is bloody brilliant. I've been following DVD'S but get bored doing same moves over and over every day. What I love about this app is:-- 1. It's very visual - large numbers and bright colours 2. Easy to set up your workout times 3. Having up-beat music for when working and relaxed for rest times 4. Loud countdowns I tried another one which needed you to have a rocket science degree to work it out! This has revolutionised my Tabata workouts. Highly recommended

N70%

The best I've found... the other reviewers are right! This thing is fantastic! easiest to use with total customization.... No description though between the free & paid version that I can see. I'd like to buy the pro version to support the developer.... L O V E I T !

As far as I can tell it has everything I need and more. There are quite a few things in the app that I would have not thought of myself but find very very useful. Add to it high level of customisation and you have a winner.

I use this for HIIT workout from the Body for Life method. I run in my neighborhood and want 1 minute intervals. I also use my Bluetooth to listen to music while I run. This is perfect, it has a few beeps to countdown at the end of the interval then a whistle blow at the very end, then the next interval begins immediately. The countdown numbers are big and clear if I want to glance and see how much time I have. My music doesn't stop, but I can hear the countdown and whistle through it. No glitches, perfect

N70%
by N####:

I like the fact that it has a stop and pause button and that it allows you to start from the beginning of your current interval, say if you are disrupted for whatever reason. The only improvement I would suggest is allowing users to create different rest times instead of a fixed one.

N70%
by N####:

Really good app for any type of interval exercise. The large number display and the countdown sounds make this app really user friendly. One thing I would suggest is to change the sound settings in the app to interrupt music as otherwise it can be lost in the background.

N70%
by N####:

Not a lot of options but is sufficient for timed interval/tabata workouts. Has good choices for sounds to signal each transition. Can save a set without a purchase. Would like to be able to split an exercise for each side, though.

N70%
by N####:

The timer tells you when the interval is almost done and it tells you when the next one is coming. You can just put your phone in your pocket listen to music and still use the timer. I never needed to actually look at the screen to know when to move on to the next set!

B70%
by B####:

Best app so far, each part of the timer can be edited for time or number of intervals. Only thing that could change is the sound indicating rest between tabatas and the start if a new tabatas is the same. Would recommend!

Y70%
by Y####:

Love this app! Extremely easy to use and have had zero problems with it. There is nothing I would change and was exactly what I was looking for. My workouts just became so much simpler!

B70%
by B####:

Simple but effective interval timer. Only thing I'd like to see added is to add the name of the activity for each of the cycles, e.g. push up, squat, burpee, plank, and to have this read out before the countdown, e.g. "Next up - push-ups".
