The Stockton Police Department’s (SPD) mission is to work in partnership with the people of Stockton to build a safe and secure community. We do so with pride in our trade, honor in our badge, and professionalism in our work. SPD prides itself in being open and transparent with our community. We believe by using social media technology will allow us to quickly share information and improve communication with our citizens.
The Stockton Police Department is proud to present the SPD mobile application. The application is free to the public and will give you access to up to the minute news, photos, videos, alerts, and crime information no matter where you are. In addition, the application allows two way communication using Twitter, Facebook, and a special feature for submitting anonymous tips to the Department. Join us in working together to make the City of Stockton a safer place for our communities and families.
The following features are included:
• News: Read the latest news and crime prevention information from the Stockton Police Department.
• Videos: Watch videos from the StocktonPD1850 You Tube Channel.
• Photos: View and search for the latest images from the Stockton Police Department, past and present.
• Crime Maps: View real-time crime maps of activities in your neighborhood or across the city. Explore the details behind the crimes.
• Submit a Tip: Be the eyes and ears of the SPD and help the Department by submitting anonymous tips to help fight crime. The application has the capability to let you anonymously chat with our tips investigator to see what happens to your tip.
• Alerts: Sign up for alerts that can be delivered to your cell phone or email.
• Twitter: Follow and communicate with the SPD through a direct link to the Department’s Twitter account.
• Facebook: Review the latest Department’s information on Facebook and become a friend of the Department.
• Phone Directory: Important numbers at your fingertips.

Nothing is happening on this app. Am I missing something? There are no crime alerts posted, no emergency numbers like it shows on the app page, shows pictures of criminals, but when you select one, it does not open. There's no crime map and it seems like it's not running correctly.
