Bible: Dramatized Audio Bibles

I am amazed by the drama feature you guys have added to the audio. It is helpful in creating the mood and mental picture of the environment the word is at. I thank God for the good work He has accomplished through you. Two things i wish you may consider: 1. Fixing a bug. The audio jumps to the next chapter before finishing reading the current one. And esp. When the phone screen goes black. 2. Improving the UI so that it captures and reflects the splendor and Majesty of God's work Thanks

It's awesome. I have been through three phones and the first thing I do when I get a new phone is download this app. I love the King James drama version. This app even allows me to copy and share so i can send scriptures to my friends. It is great for when I'm on the go and when I'm occupied with other things such as taking a shower and can still hear the Word of God. After all, faith does comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God

The drama bible is the best thing that has happen to humanity and with it there is no excuses of not being literate. It's the perfect app for humanity. I fell in love with it since my first encounter and it's still my favorite of all times. It allows the message to get to people who might not be able to read. I dont know what you guys did, but thank you, the app is working again. Please help for some odd reason the app isnt playing. If you can help it would mean so much to me. I love this app and listening to the bible before i go to sleep. Thank you or creating such a wonderful app. When I have trouble sleeping instead of taking sleeping meds I listen to the bible app? Listening to the word of God helps to calm down my spirit and I'm able to fall asleep. Thank you Jesus!

I really prefer this source of daily audible Bible reading as all the readers/characters are excellent and the sound effects are both appropriate and just enough to add some reality and interest. I've listened to other audio Bibles and they don't hold a candle to this one. It has been a real blessing to me and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get more of God's word in his life.

I really like this app. It allows you to push play and it reads the Bible to you. Great for when you are getting ready for your day. I can brush my teeth and listen to God's word. The one thing I would change is. it would be nice if there was a colored dot or something that would follow along wear the person is reading. Sometimes I would like to underline or highlight an area and I cannot find the spot that the app is reading.

The ONLY reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because they completely changed the voices. I like the other voices. The new narrator is too bland. The first narrator they had was soo much better. And it actually made it easier for me to memorize the verses without even trying just from hearing it over again. But overall I really like this app. I listen to it while I sleep sometimes and anything with the word of God is amazing. Love.

I use to habe troubles understanding the bible at times and had to read it over a couple of times to get the true meanining. But when i started listening to this app and all the different voices helped me distinguish who is saying and doing what. As I listen I can literally place myself there as if I am walking and seeing it happen before my eyes. My spirtual life has grown to a much deeper level than I could ever imagine. Thank you so much for your great work on this app. God definitely has his hand on you.

This app "blew my socks off" ... now I can't find my shoes!. Seriously, this is a most amazing, easy to use and easy to share way to spead God's Word. I travel and meet people all the time where English is not their primary language and was very limited in my ability to share Jesus. This will revolutionize my ministry. Thank you!

I need to hear the word of God outloud. It makes me understand more, and what I can't understand, I go back and listen again. We will never know all his secrets until he comes and sets his kingdom on this earth. I thank God for giving us his precious son, Jesus, to pay for our sins. We know how he suffered, so that should make everyone want to live for him and read his word and pray everyday. Oh, how he loves us and as a Christian, I will do my best to live in his way. We need to give praise to our Father and his son everyday. Love starts with God and we are responsible to give love and of our selves to our neighbors, as Jesus did for us. I praise you, my Father and your son.

Been looking for a dramatized version of the Bible for a while! I very much enjoy this app, it's easy listening to the different voices and backgrounds, it makes you feel as if you're there. This has been a blessing to me as I use it almost every day. I recommend this app to anyone who would like to hear the Word come to life as they read. Thank you very much.

This app helped me through my darkest days when I didn't own a physical Bible. Thank God for the good of technology and giving me the insight to discern the differences. All I rememberthe app reading me before I went to sleep..."The book of Genesis Chapter one...In the begining God created the heavens and the earth" Still get teary eyed when I gear that. Very good App. Makes the Bible so interesting. Thank you Lord for working through you Guys to provide such an app. One problem I have is downloading, its a bit difficult. If you van have selection option to the left corner or somewhere would be good. Just making download easier in general. God bless

I'm bad about making myself read the Bible sometimes, especially the drier parts of the Old Testament - this helps! I like the changes in voices to indicate quotes versus the immediate text (like when Paul is quoting OT passages). It makes it come alive, which seems pretty important to me. Better yet, you can choose how dramatic you want it to sound. I like it dramatic, but some don't. Update: As much as I enjoy listening to Scripture, and I've tried using this as my morning listening while I get the household going, it skips huge portions. Probably has to do with my internet, but it needs to take time to load the chapter rather than skip on to the next part.

I absolutely love the App and have shared it with as many as I can. The fact that you offer other languaged, touches my soul! I am still trying to figure out how to access aside from a cellphone, meaning for my elderly mother who need to access the app on her computer not I thank you all so much. I have learned so much, and leave it playing while going to sleep. I love also the fact that there are multiple versions and a timer. Thank you!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Bible is, every night, it totally relaxes me, and it's definitely a sleep aid for me because the subconscious mind is still active, therefore, the word of God is being poured into my mind and spirit..but lately, I haven't been able to listen to Bible.is because for some strange reason, It will start playing for a half of a second, and completely stop. I'm very discouraged at this time, not being able to hear the Word Of God... I'm praying that eventually it will start playing again..

Thanks for fixing the problem with no audio. My family has been using this for years now and it has been absolutely tremendously important to us in pointing our hearts toward God every night by putting the sleep timer on and letting God's Word wash over us. Come Lord Jesus.

It is very easy to understand. The sound effects are pleasing as it makes for good listening. Only listened to, two chapters and had to give a review straight away. My other bible app stopped working, funny that must be the devil and his demons trying to stop me from listening to the truth from God. Ha ha you didn't win.????

This app gets straight to the point, many free bible versions available. Night mode and day mode also, font size adjustable. Easy to use interphase and access different verses and chapters + audio available for some many versions. Read description... Reliable, minor glitch at times when scrolling, and lackluster! Almost gave 4 stars yet 5 because it's free.

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this application while driving from Virginia to Florida and back. It is been a blessing it helps keep me awake and it keeps my mind on God and all the many things that he has done for us as His people. 5-star rating it only gets sketchy when your reception is sketchy but aside from that I love it!

I love this app!!!! They have done such a good job. I live out in the country and don't always have Internet, they have made it to where you can download the whole thing on to your phone and listen to it without internet. I love the way they have separated the voices on drama versions but also have the option to go simple just straight reading. The music can be a little irritating at times, or even just straight up weird. Not complaining because it's free. You guys are awesome keep up the good work!!!

Awesome. Love it a must have for a lover of God's written word amen............... But I'm having some problems one it takes to long to come in, when going to the next chapter it just spend and spend and never goes to the next chapter. I love this app it's really good, but I need you to fix these problems first, and then I can continue to rave about how good this app really is. Thanks

I still struggle with some of the functions. But as I get to know the app better I really appreciate all the work they put into it. I think what I like most is all the different languages that the Bible has been translated into within the app. I've been able to share passages from the New Testament with friends all over the world. I'm hoping that more of the Old Testament will be translated into the different languages and able to be used on the app. The designers did a great job!

The best I ever heard or read. I will be able to share the word from my cell phone. Amazing! I can listen to the word of God even when I'm tired and pretend that I've been transported in time and listening to Jesus talking with the people of that time. I just love this app. I am learning how to use it each day. Not sure how to temporarily change the language when sharing the word with someone that speaks another language, other than that I am so blessed and excited. Thank you.

I love the dramatized audio, it really helps me memorize scripture. The multiple translations are such a blessing. However, please provide a 'download all' option for the audio of a particular version. It takes me over an hour to just press download on each book because the interface is so laggy. It's not my hardware.

When am tired to concentrate in reading I simply listen to the audio Bible & the scriptures just come alive in me! The best thing about it is that the audio is actually dramatized, so it places you right into the scene. I was actually amazed by the variety of translations even in our Kenyan ethnic minorities, that's really comedable! The only thing I found missing was my ethnic language translation Kikuyu, which actually the most spoken language in Kenya after Swahili. Please check on that. Much love...

The main item that floats my boat is the abilities to listen continuously and not have the screen on. The ability to download for offline listening as well. The only wish is for more unchanged bibles but in a time of universal deceit, it is unlikely. Anyone know where to get a non Mandela effected bible?

I Enjoy the Dramatization and music! The many Readers and various translations. There are times the audio cuts off; and, the end of the chapter's scripture is not read, unless I drag the recording to the end. Prayerfully, that glitch will get addressed. May "Bible Is" expand to greater heights in its application!

Being dyslexic, it is so hard to understand what I read. I wanted to really learn the Bible, but couldn't understand it. With this reading it out loud, AND each character having their own voice, it has made understanding, learning, and growing in the word so much easier. It would be great if it highlighted the verse it was reading, to help follow along. Other than that, this app is absolutely amazing!

My sister put me on to this app. I go to sleep by it a lot. My parents used to play bible stories for us to sleep by when we were children. I still do it. I sleep better when I do believe it or not. I was so hoping that this app would work for me on my way to work as I spend almost two hours a day in the car. But to my disappointment the audio cuts off the end of each chapter consistently. It doesn't matter if I'm using data or if I download the Bible it still does not function reliably. I'm using an LG G2 phone with Verizon 4G service.

this was THE best bible app ever. In almost every language. BUT now you need to register to be able to download for off line reading. I am totally unable to register no matter how hard I try. Why do u need to register to read the word of God that is already available everywhere?

After finding the book and chapter,when scrolling down to the verse the entire book changes to another chapter before you get there. When reading you can't touch a word in the passage for definition of the word. Not good for studying with only to listen. It would be nice if it could read certain scriptures.

Until otherwise, I'm praising this app as the most important and would care for it as a mom cares for the young. You just can't get enough! To make this for free, is to say there's no better app on my phone. Thank you and God bless you and bless us all.
