About Tio Keyboard

In short, Tio Keyboard is . . . a breakthrough keyboard technology; a faster and easier way to type; a keyboard with few keys; a larger screen area for text; a keyboard that can be resized and repositioned with excellent editing and navigation; a feature-rich and customizable environment; a simplified QWERTY keyboard layout designed to use your existing typing skills; a cinch to learn!

Tio Keyboard is a new keyboard technology that allows you to type faster, more accurately, and with greater ease on the touch screen of your smartphone or tablet.

Tio Keyboard has just 10 basic keys compared to about 30 on a regular keyboard so you can type faster with greater ease. Fewer keys translates into less finger movement and fewer decisions. Make yourself more efficient!

The Tio Keyboard uses large keys and still gives you more screen space for your text.

Since Tio Keyboard uses a simplified QWERTY keyboard layout, it is a cinch to learn. Take your typing to the next level!

Tio Keyboard has been designed from the ground up for efficient text entry on portable devices. So editing and navigation are well supported. It is no longer necessary to limit yourself to shorter messages and emails when you are on the go.

Tio Keyboard relies on an amazingly powerful new prediction technology called CSP (pronounced “cusp”). Because Tio Keyboard has fewer keys than a conventional keyboard, it relies on CSP’s sophisticated pattern-matching techniques to predict what you intended to type, correct typo’s and misspellings, and suggest auto-completions.

Tio Keyboard comes with excellent support for SMS, Twitter, and contractions. Punctuation marks are part of your typing flow (just like on a regular keyboard), and you have easy access to numbers and a large set of symbols.

Tio Keyboard is quite versatile. It allows you to type with one thumb, two thumbs, an index finger, or all ten fingers. The keyboard can be used in landscape or portrait mode and can be resized, repositioned, or split to suit your typing style. So customize and type the way you like!

So download today and experience Tio Keyboard — the shortest distance from A to Z!

Every function is well designed. I'm not a swiping fan and always want features like left/right arrow key, select all, custom text clips. You can imagine how surprised I was when I found they all appeared in Tio, and my intention was merely to find a keyboard that occupies less screen area. This keyboard is a product from full heart, it deserves more media exposure, more users and more reputation.

Awesome keyboard. Pretty much like a advanced T9. If it has more languages i would use it and would get a 5star rating

OK! Press Left tab when there is no spelling suggestions will crash the keyboard.

Its so bad.... Given this multiple changes and each time it's been awful. Force closes all the time and just is awful at prediction. Good idea but needs another year or two of work. Minuum keyboard is the next keyboard like this I'll try out.

I give it 4 stars for now until crashing on Samsung galaxy note 2 is fixed. Other than that this keyboard is my favorite so far with all the great functionality making typing a great experience.

Nice concept. I do have a succession to you guys. You arranged the Letters according to QWERTY keypad which makes or tougher to find where a letter is. Instead if you put ABC in one cell and defb in next it makes life easier and this keyboard can be a revolution. If you can implement this then this is my permanent keyboard. And will digest top my friends too.

Only one layout: QWERTY. I don't see how this keyboard could ever improve the on-screen typing experience.

This keyboard is like a pre-pre-pre-beta of t9. If you want access to any punctuation, you have to set it to a layout never before seen by humans.

Trying out the new squiggle keyboard. It was slightly confusing to begin with, but after spending some time with it, I'm finding it rather interesting. I'm looking forward to finding out if I can actually type fast enough, which is a must if I have to think about using it regularly. I think I will be able to achieve speed as I practice more and more. So far so good. At least I have sufficient reason to increase my rating for this crazily unique keyboard in the play store.

One of the great features of the standard keyboard is that the suggested completions take into account that you may have mistyped something or have a spelling mistake in what you have typed so far. As a result it's easy and fast and rugged to use. I like the idea of this keyboard, but they loose this ruggedness, which for me slows down my experience dramatically.

The best and smartest keyboard I have ever used. If you don't like this you aren't using it properly. I have tried them all and this is the best. Could change keyboards forever.

This app makes things much harder to type. There's a seperate button you need to press if it gets words wrong, there's no suggestions when you click on a previously typed word, and if you switch to full keyboard mode there's no auto correct and no double-space to add a period. The only way to actually add a period is go to the symbols which brings you back to the small keyboard, and then it's hard to find. Sorry, but I'm uninstalling it.

I'm not one of those young techies that are able to use 2 thumbs to type, but with TIO I can easily type very quickly using thumbs and have great accuracy. This is a simple but great innovation. THANKS

I've been experimenting with a lot of keyboards. I think this keyboard has potential, but its not quite there. I don't think anything is as fast as swype-based typing. If Tio added a swype feature I believe it may be more useful.

Very fast and convenient... When it works. It doesn't work with text boxes in browsers for some reason. It also hides buttons at the bottom of the screen. The last straw, however, was that it deleted an important essay when I opened it in Drive. I pressed a key and poof! The whole thing was replaced with gibberish. Back to stock keyboard for me.

K70%

This keyboard compared to Swype or Swiftkey is terrible. There's no way to easily correct yourself if you mess up a word. You have to switch between keyboards.

K70%

This app is truly innovative. It's like reinventing the wheel but the problem is that the it's kinda hard to figure out how to use the app. Hence, 3stars for being innovative. Perhaps more improvement on the tutorial. Get the users to interact with the tutorial

Nice keyboard that just takes getting used to and it needs better word prediction also on netflix when I try to type in the search it will not type same thing for some browsers lastly it always crashes when I open chrome and it is the most annoying thing and that is why I don't give it 5 stars

A70%
by A####:

Needs a word suggestion bar badly, tapping next is too slow. On the squiggle keyboard please add the option to use current prediction on release, having to pause then press tab takes too long. With those tweaks five stars
