Flytube offers a new way to watch videos from YouTube on your Android device. Watch them anywhere you want.
Sometimes you're watching a YouTube video and then someone writes you a message, or you need to search for something on the web.
But if you leave YouTube the video will stop. With Flytube this problem is solved. Videos will open in a small window and always stay in front.
Set Flytube as your default YouTube player by following the instructions in the intro. Afterwards, all YouTube links will be opened with Flytube.
You can also use the share function to open a video window. Just press the share button in a video and select Flytube - the video will appear in front.

YouTube Terms of Servies
According to device and network abuse policy and section 4.4 of the developer distribution agreement and YouTubes Terms of Services it is not allowed to play videos in background.
This app does not violates this rules by keeping the app itself in front and also the screen on. If a user locks the device the video stops and Flytube will not be visible anymore. Only if user unlocks the phone Flytube appears again.
Any background playing situation is not reached.

Flytube is a third party app. All the content is provided by YouTube services. Therefore Flytube does not have direct control over the content displayed.

Hi guys, I paid for the full version however when I add a video to my playlist and go to see if its there it says failed to load playlist. Also need to be able to refine searches like upload date, view count etc. Great app. Please keep updating will be my default YouTube player. Floating window so handy. Regards. Lenovo K3 note. Works quite well on MotoG4 - bit stuttery but acceptable. However on Xiaomi MiPad, the videos seem to be in the background. I can hear audio - but no video. Also no advanced features like watch history or any customised video suggestions.

It's pretty cool, but it's not what it's all cracked up to be. I'm sure the dev is handicapped by what all he can do with the app... Since some Youtube vids are restricted from using this app.. For example Vevo vids.

The idea is good, but pretty much useless. If i would like to see a video i will see it on full screen and not just on a half, smartphones are small anyways you dont need to make it even smaller

Spent a dollar to resize the window and my phone died. I can't restore the purchase to resize the window on my new phone so I have to spend another dollar. Will delete app and not recommend to anyone if this is not resolved.

A list of channels really isn't that useful because you need to go into everything individually to choose it. At least have the setting to use the standard subscription setup for youtube

Really good improvement since I used it month ago. Features request: auto adjust to remove black bars when resizing videos. Add mp4 video link to be playable in flytube.

Works perfectly (it gives you everything it offered, stop blaming the app for not being able to play vevo content -_-) my only problem is logging to my youtube accaunt because it doesnt works for some reason(when it logs in all i see is 2 channels(one is pewdiepie which i am not even subscribed and other 200+ channels arent there)

apart from a few videos being restricted and not playing in this app. Brilliant so far. Edit: 30July... After purchase now not working. Edit: Bug fixed a short while later, thanks dev. Edit: 29August '16 Cannot open video with Flytube anymore and no more mini screen that stays on in background. Is it still worth it? Edit: 30Aug'06 Thanks for sorting things out so quickly.

Can't even open videos. Will install this once again if the error has been fixed. This app has GREAT potential but it just doesn't work.edit: why I cant still open videos :(. I have a Huawei Y5C with Android 4.4.2, is there something wrong :(?

For example I would like to see a feature for grouping channels I like into lists that generates play lists for you with videos from the youtubers in that group. If that's too much mabey being able to see all the latest videos from my subscription box with the ones from my favorite or most watched channels first
