..normal camera app managed without any adjustment. Very low on permissions which is good although it tried to phone home.

Very easy to use and works great in dark. This app is for testing you tv ir remote. I have a TV remote that I was fixing for my mom that someone spilt somthing on it and it stop working. Took apart the remote and cleaned then use this app to test each button was activating the infrared sensor.

You can do the same thing with the camera app. Just open camera, point your remote at the camera on your phone, and press a few buttons. You don't even need the negative effect. Also, you shouldn't have to go through all this garbage just to see if your remote is dead or not. All you need is common sense, does your remote control your TV? No? Then it's dead. Yes? Then it's working. On top of all this, it doesn't even tell you the "battery status". This app is extremely redundant and for stupid people...

I wouldn't have thought of inversing the camera to negitive to see the ir I removed the app cause its unnecessary but will keep the idea in mind

My bluray remote stopped working with the device, but i wanted to make sure it was just dead. Turned out it wasn't, the player just wasn't reading it clearly and we were able fix it. This app will be so useful, even if it it just a negative camera app.

This is the worst

What the real kicker is, and y'all gonna slap yourselves on the back of your head, open your camera on "NORMAL" and point it at the remote just like you would with this app and press any button. You'll notice that it lights up like and led flashlight....funny, eh?

Even though app is pointless, as others have said it just opens your camera, I give it three star because he was able to make some ad money with it.

Cool.it works. Same as solarize mode on my cam.

Save space on your phone and just turn your camera on and point your remote at it and press a button to test whether it's got power.
