Really good app. But still don't have "legato" forms for different notes that come after each other. Please add this facility. Tnx????

I am finding it quite strang that even though it says it saves my songs as .midi it doesn't actually do that. I was hoping to convert my music to mp3 so i could use more easily but it is not a midi file as it says it is and that makes me sad. It is quite a good app for actually composi g the pieces though. Shame i cant really use them though

This is a very good app, probably the best mobile sheet music composer, however there is an issue with the playback. Whenever I press play, the parts are all out of time, even though I know I have written them correctly on the score. The treble clef part is ahead of the bass clef part by around one and a half bars, and therefore it makes my composition sound bad. Furthermore, when I exported the audio to see if the issue would be fixed, the exported file still had one part ahead of the other. Please fix this issue and I will rate 5 stars.

I like this app, although, there are only options for simple time. I'm busy with a song that is in compound time, so it would be nice if you add, for example, the dotted crotchets - I know that you could tie notes, but this is easier to read. Another thing that I'm missing in the app is the time indication. There is only an option for "crotchet per beat". There should also be a "quaver per beat" and the "swing" option. But everything else is working good. Thank you

I definitely recommend this app. You can create a nice melody, or a cool beat. It is amazing for a free app, when this could cost quite a bit. This also can ineffectively however, though, teach you to play the piano. It does however have a slight problem, It plays the music for the Treble Cleff, never the Base Cleff, but this app is not without its benefits

Took me a while to figure out how to delete notes. The settings button just brings up an ad and that's it. You should be able to hear the note when you place it on the staff. Because of the settings button, or ad button rather, I couldn't find out how to change the tempo... Anyway, I'm used to finale, so maybe I expected too much here.

This app is nice. Percussion has a wide variety, but does not include what I'd probably be using most: snare, bass drum, cymbals, etcetera. If these are located somewhere, they are inconveniently placed, because I spent a solid ten minutes scouring the options. Spaces are difficult to actually erase/delete for some reason, but other than for ties the issue is purely aesthetic. Another feature that is not necessary but that would be nice is a copy and paste functionality, so that I could replay measures or chords without having to remake the whole thing. Recently, there has been a bug where it stops playing after a single measure, even after a specifically selected playback.

It is an amazing app and has helped become a music Composer. Although one thing that's very minor but bugging me is that there is no two sided repeat thing so I need to add one useless measure. The second thing is that could you make it so I could have a tempo change and key signature change in the middle of the song. Other than that it is a very helpful app and very fun to use.

I like this app. I really do. But I wish I could actually convert the file without the audio sounding any different. I want to use this music for a video game, but it sounds worse when I convert it. Please fix this and I will rate five stars, because other than that, I LOVE this app!

This is the best free/ad app I have found for this purpose. Some problems: no slur (really minor), no zoom (would help accuracy), NO UNDO!!! I just spent 15 minutes on a 4 note chord! I think paper would be quicker but I like the playback feedback.

It's missing delete ability. When I hit wrong note I have to create new song and it's annoying me. Although it's easy to make but without it, I only rated ☆☆☆☆ (4☆) (I'm using Samsung Galaxy J3 1016 with Android 5.1.1)

T70%
by T####:

It's a little annoying that it won't let me do legato over notes that aren't the same, because I'm composing for voice. Also it can be tricky to make changes to the music because the notes are so small and close together so you just have to hope you don't put a flat on the wrong note or a rest in the wrong place. And it also won't let me put in staccato or do a long crescendo. In general however it is good for just collecting your basic thoughts and it's relatively fool-proof so that's nice.

does what i want it to, which is compose music when i'm away from laptop. quick and easy to add notes, i like that it highlights the entire line you'll be putting the note on. adding an undo button would make things easier and i'll assume that you plan to add more features for us to make our music more intricate.

T70%
by T####:

Every time I click a button or place a note, a full screen ad is displayed. Horrid, would not touch with a 10' pole.

C70%
by C####:

I uh... This is almost unusable. My fingers will never be precise enough for this about to be useful. And adjusting mistakes is way too tricky. It also doesn't seem to let you play just a specific part, neither does it let you hear the note you're placing, which would immensely useful. I give it two stars but really, I could easily go lower. Do not recommend

O70%
by O####:

Pls make a feature where you can zoom on one staff and zoom back to view all staff.. its hard to place notes on many staffs ????.. also pls add more features like the triplet you added.. and fix the repeat bar, what I know is that if it reaches the repeat bar again it skips

Great start. It'd be nice if I could drag selected notes/rests/bars/etc. to new locations - or at least be able to change multiple pitches, note types at a time. Also, it would be helpful if app recognized 4 beats in 4/4 time and automatically placed a measure bar when the next note is placed. Would like more multiplet options (doublets and sextuplets at least.) Finally, a inset/overwrite toggle would be helpful. Thanks for your efforts on this!

Of all the similar apps I've tried, this has to be the easiest to make correct note placements on a small (5 inch) screen. Clean, clutter free, well thought out layout and controls all round. I have yet to fully explore managing my scores between Maestro (when I'm out and about) and MuseScore (when at my desk), but assume that the midi export should do most. Wish MuseScore offered note entry in a fashion more like Maestro.

T70%
by T####:

It's missing a few features still, but, overall, it is the best app for score writing on a tiny screen, and the ads almost dont bother me at all. I would like to be able to change key and time signatures in the middle of a piece, change one or more notes' pitch at the same time and, most importantly, place two different notes with different durations- say, a minim and a quaver- in the same beat, so that they play simultaneously. Other than that, I think it runs smoothly enough and the zooming feature is a life-saver. Thank you for making this available for free.

W70%
by W####:

This app is pretty neat. I can compose pretty much anything, but there is one problem. I cannot figure out a way to make any slurs on my music. Please help!

T70%
by T####:

It's pretty good but the playback is out of sync. I would also like a copy and paste function and to be able to change the pitch more than one note down without that window closing.

T70%
by T####:

i need the non-ad version of this, oh for someone who wondering on how to delete the note, just un-choose the note selector, select the note that you want to delete, there will be new window appears, select remove, done

N70%
by N####:

The navigation isn't smooth so o uninstalled. I didn't even give the scoring a chance because I couldn't pinch zoom. That feature is critical for ease of use

Compared to many others I have tried, Maestro will let me sketch a line of music easier & more expressively. Once you get the hang of it & it's limits, it's a breeze. I don't give too many ratings, but this is a good, stable app, without too many pop-up ads. You won't write a symphony, but if you need a FREE Android music sketch pad, so far this is IT! Bravo!

I REALLY LOVE THIS APP I USE IT TO PRACTICE MUSIC FOR CHORUS BUT I AM A TENOR SO THERE IS A DIFFERENT CLEF FOR IT CAN U PLEASE ADD THE TENOR CLEF ITS A TREBLE CLEF BUT WITH A LITTLE 8 AT THE BOTTOM MEANING AUCTIVE DOWN FROM REGULAR TREBLE

The sounds are so fake and electronic, and nothing makes sense, honestly. Plus, you can't put an apostrophe if you are typing your title for some reason, for example: Zelda's Theme. That would turn out to be Zeldas Theme, or Zelda Theme. It doesn't make sense, and I'm very upset about the fake sounds. Not good controls.

O70%
by O####:

Not impressed. The description days you can change clefs, but I couldn't figure out how to get a bass clef. Or a three quarter note. And it wouldn't pay back what I did write. It said it was playing, and volume was to, but no some.

D70%
by D####:

I found that I cannot save the sheet music as an image file, which is very unfortunate. Also, ledger lines are deleted if there are 2 notes stacked together, which is extremely unhelpful.

O70%

Awesome app, easy to use. Only problem is that the tie and the eighth note connector don't work. Please fix, otherwise great app.

T70%
by T####:

All that I can say that's bad is I can't transpose in app and I can't find slurs but I've written multiple scores for my band at football games and it works well

D70%
by D####:

Simple, user friendly, has every basic thing needed for writing and learning. Only wish I could download my song, and for a few more features that are a bit more expert.

T70%
by T####:

I really like the app. You can write a score and playback. It would be cool if you can print. Controls are slightly hard to control

T70%
by T####:

I'm honestly very impressed! It's relatively easier to use than a few other apps I've tried and it has a wide array of instruments to play back music

F70%

This app is great. It has a great UI and easy to wrap your head around. 10 out of 10 you got here

T70%

Make it more understandable for me that have zero music background and nable us to change from piano to organ to keyboard for instance

T70%
by T####:

Please please please can you give us a percussion clef? Drummers need to write stuff, too!

T70%
by T####:

It really, really needs an "undo" button; something to erase mistakes.

Z70%
by Z####:

I love this app. It makes writing sheet music so easy. The best part, it's not premade parts. I just wish I could print. I don't see a way to.

D70%
by D####:

Not having an easily accessible delete button is stupid.

S70%
by S####:

Great, does what it says but I can't really place the note correctly because the it can't zoom in enough but still great
