Simple Cash - Free Checkbook

I recently switched phones. In the app description, it wasn't obvious to me that to restore from a backup, I had to pay. Sneaky. Now I have to give up a $1 or lose my data. Only a buck but it is the principle.

Would love to see recurring transactions added, but this is the best app I found for keeping up with my accounts!

After checking the second transaction, it kicks me out of the register.... Painful..... Can't delete entries

Can u tell me if yje pais version only backs up to sd i would like to use this between 2 phones

WTFO? Since when is the payee required for a DEPOSIT? Stupid. VERY stupid.

Very easy and quick to use. Does exactly what i want to do - act a checkbook register plus a few handy extra features. Balance is easy to see with your most recent transaction. If i had any wish list, i would add the balance somewhere else too big bold and in my face. But i tried and rejected three other apps before this one. I recommend it for the every day person. i use it for 2 accounts.

My only complaint is there is no way to edit the transaction but to delete it and enter it again. I was wrong, you can edit. I just love the app. Simple,easy to use and just what I need. Thanks to developer for responding.

I get free so there are little as there. But the first transaction I tried to enter was delayed by a giant ad taking over my screen.

It is a nice app, but it doesn't have the feature of automatically entering recurring transactions. It also had ads that pop up completely unexpected, filling the whole screen.

I like the simplicity of this app and I've tried dozens of checkbook apps. My only issue is that after paying to remove the ads they are still showing up. Not good.

I have only two complaints. Both are non-critical, but mildly annoying, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. First is the fact that the "payee" field won't take apostrophes or other special characters, which makes the autocomplete function in my keyboard useless for many of my usual purchases (and rubs my minor OCD the wrong way). Second is that there is no option to view the transaction list with the most recent transactions first. I always have to scroll down to the end of the list to look up my latest transactions when I'm balancing my accounts.

guick easy and does the job

This is the best checkbook app I have found for my needs. After my earlier review changes were made nd now it's perfect!

Great! Simple transaction register. Saves me the hassle of carrying around a paper transaction register...

Just what I was looking for. Simple and clean interface and easy to navigate. It will be nice to see more statistics and charts to help me analyze my spending habits better.
