Would be great if the save chart to SD Card setting actually worked. Please fix that ASAP so we can use the charts we paid for. The updated app still does not work properly with Android devices saving charts to an SD Card. It downloads the tiles fine and displays the data. But once you leave the App and go back to the chart all the downloaded information has disappeared.

App can be very dangerous for marine navigation as the maps are incorrect and some points are incorrectly labeled. App ceases to function at random and at times when correct navigation information is essential for safety of life and property. App has proved to be not safe or reliable for safe passage through east coast ICW of Va. NC. SC. And Ga. I suggest an alternative navigational aid until further development of the app is competed and functionality issues are addressed.

This is just a scam to get you to by Garmin charts. The base map didn't show any Active Captain data at all. Don't waste your time unless you already have A Garmin chartplotter.

Has potential (and bugs). athe biggest issue being that if you use the settings option to store data on an SD card rather than internal storage it will not download charts, thus internal memory fills fast and it is essetially unsuable on a reasonaly full device.

Without purchasing Garmin maps or a connected Garmin chartplotter this is pretty useless. The base map is very low resolution. You can't add items to ActiveCaptain except online as this app opens a webview for that. It is often unresponsive.
