The Witte Dino AR

I was excited to find an app for the exhibit; however, once I downloaded the app I was very disappointed. The frist strike was with the download process. The download took for ever, then when I started the app another download was required and that took for ever too. The second strike was the data usage I had to use, I wonder how of my data usage was wasted on that. It is crazy that you have to download one app to download another. A real software engineer would have thought of those things before hand. By the time the app had downloaded and I had started using the app I had already gone through the entire exhibit. I did go back to try the app and that even sucked. The third strike was that I could only use the app in one fixed point, pointing to the sign. It was no different from the iPads that were there for the exhibit. Don't waste your data usage.

The kids will love this app. It only works with the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit at the Witte Museum, but it is very cool. Virtual dinos that you can control.
