It appears that Pebble has stopped supporting this app and the users of Pebble Steel. I stopped using my Pebble due to Bluetooth connection issues. The watch and app does not reconnect anymore when coming back within range of your phone.

by X####:

Total fail. My Pebble no longer connects or works with my phone. I will not be purchasing another Pebble as it is not worth my time and aggravation. I liked the watch when it worked.

X70%
by X####:

Was GREAT for a few months till i factory reset my phone and the app kept forcing me to update the watch. Now it only works with the new app that won't let me select which music player to use and defaults to google play.

C70%
by C####:

Ever since I tried the new app, which wasn't great, the old app no longer pairs with the watch. I factory reset the watch and uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no success. I'm forced into trying the new app again, which doesn't operate as well, but better than throwing the watch out. So far.

This old app takes literally 0 seconds to find my PTS but doesn't let me use it. I have to use the new app instead which can't find that damn watch at all. WTF?!

It will not accept a email I have had for years , it keeps saying it belongs to someone else .

I enjoy using my watch. It helps me with time, calling, and I like receiving my email's. I love my watch. It is a gift from my brother.

After the recent update, there's 2 notification on my Note 5. This app says my pebble is forever connecting and the new app says I m connected. No one even bother to answer on Twitter. During the kickstarter years ago they were so good n when they r big they just ignore u. I m changing to Gear S2.

The watch was working properly until i updated to ver3x.Now it's having a problem displaying both the watchfaces and the menu. Since my steel is out of warranty, support can only recommend getting a new one (???) for a 25% discount. That was my cue to switch to another brand.

G70%
by G####:

Unreliable, won't sync properly, it can't find my phone and won't successfully download or install the new software. I've got two watches and the same happens on both with different phones. Used to work but after upgrade both are useless.

How dumb. You've lost another original owner support with you applle esk software update. You know it's useless right ? As a watch?? Because before that's what it freaking was not this new schedule junk. Do not force this on your users. The multiple watch faces made the thing , did you forget that ? And no apps work unless paired even a g.d. egg timer. Lastly , battery from over a week to 2 days or less. Total failure. If I wanted this ID buy a time. Dumb. Keep new with new don't bring worst part

Cannot update, pairing fails regularly and notifications no longer show on phone! Time to buy a Google device I think. Help info is not helpful at all for non tech users which is why it is going in the bin

So iv had a Pebble since about summer of 2015 and I have to say I love it. It has all the features I need to control bluetooth while having a battery life that is not surpassed by other smart watches, I recommend using this app as I am not a fan of the newer version of the O.S.

If you need your watch to do everything, then this isn't the one for you. If you just simply want every notification your phone receives to pop up on your wrist for a glance instead of pulling your phone out every time it sounds or buzzes.

I really do, but they lack too much. It's not a smart watch that offers everything the big dogs do for a reasonable price. It's a cheapy version with half the price and all the features and slickness. Sorry guys but it has to be on another level from this to be even good.

App works great. Watch works and battery goes all week, unlike the gear I borrowed when trying to decide which to buy.

Constantly disconnecting after the latest update, hadn't had many issues before and have loved my pebble. Lately though it's gone from a smart watch to simply a timepiece. Hopefully this gets fixed soon! PS I'm running an original Pebble on Android 5.1.1

The Pebble watch is terrific. The software support is pretty average. The biggest problem is the Bluetooth connection is not persistent. If I walk out of range from my phone, the connection is permanently severed and doesn't attempt to reconnect. I shouldn't have to keep unpairing and re-pairing the connection every time I walk away from my phone. I hope the developers are listening to this. Sort this out and you'll have a great product. I'll even adjust my rating!

Connectivity is fine (when it is stable), however, overall it is not reliable as connection is lost unexpectedly. Dealing exclusively with the app works around the issue most of the time, but the experience is poor. In my case the procedure to re-establish is: - Stop the Pebble app. - Clear the app cache. - Launch the app. - From within the app, toggle the connection off-then-on. That does it for me. In rare cases: - Also restart the watch, and/or - Toggle Android BT connection. (2.9.1/2.4.2/S3 4.4.2)

Great but can't there be some kind of notification when I've received MMS? This function still missing. Also, selecting the send sms option causes Facebook Messenger to not work. Unselecting this option and turning on individual messaging fixes this, but now sms notifications have stopped working...

T70%

The app will not stay connected to the watch. It will not reconnect after a disconnect either. This is when the watch and phone are within arms reach of each other at all times. I had one pebble that worked great on KitKat. It was rendered useless on marshmallow. I exchanged it for a different problem and my new watch will not stay connected either. Even after a full reset and app reinstall. Tech support is useless and this is a known long term issue. There have been three updates that haven't fixed this.

Decided to buy a Pebble Classic watch, installed the app on my S6 and it won't even allow me to log in. Very frustrating having to constantly uninstall and reinstall the in hopes of it working. Previously had app and worked fine, now it seems to just not want to do anything. Keep the customers happy with the app and don't let us down Pebble.

Simple not bloated app. Only a couple problems I've encountered. Sometimes my text messages *only* go to the watch and don't show up on my phone, which is strange. I would think the notification popping up on my phone should be what triggers it to go to the watch. Not somehow the app intercepting the message and sending directly to the watch instead of going to my messaging app and notifications bar. Which appears to be whats happening. Also, sometimes doesn't auto reconnect after going out of range.

B70%
by B####:

About 3-5 times a week it gets into a state where it doesn't reconnect on its own. At that point I have to open the app, click to disconnect completely and click again to reconnect. This works every time. WTF can't the app do this on its own? Going all the way down to 1 star because pebble has known about this for at least a year and done nothing to fix it. To add insult to injury, the app now says connected in the notification whether it is connected or not.

T70%
by T####:

When it works, great, but it really struggles to reconnect to my Pebble watch any time the connection is lost for longer than a few seconds. Notifications are extremely unreliable as well, sometimes they are ignored all day, other times they'll work for a few hours in the morning, but since the latest update I have not gotten a single full day of reliable notifications on my Pebble. All settings are optimized to give it full access to my device, including installing Android Wear app, still unreliable
