Yellow Cab San Francisco

Does what I need it to do and works fine. May not thrill those who love to stare mindlessly into their smartphones but for those who don't play cartoonish games and need to go this app is great

Decided to give this a chance after using lyft and uber exclusively. User the sfo deal to make an appointment for pickup. They never showed up! So I had an I bet show up in two minutes instead. Will never attempt to use yellow cab again. The free market will put these guys out of business since they can't keep up.

Unfortunately this app seems to have a lot of problems in pinpointing available cab locations and their journey to you. It is funny, I prefer to take cabs two other car services but I don't think this app works too well

Make it work better on a nexus 5x

After update 7/31/2015, its working fine now! still not perfect , 1/big problem that especially on the booking appointment order, too confusinf to select the time and date, after set it, then show nothing , bad ! Need fix ,not easy to use, 2/ order a Cab for ready now, should be able to see where is my Cab coming on the map, Now just a cab number, customer want to know WHERE is my cab,worry about no Cab coming, please take a look on uber, how do they designed the app!!!!!!

I'm so glad that this app is slowly being evolved into a useful and easy to use app. I love the fact that they have introduced features that are not released yet but give you the vision of what you will be able to so soon - for example adding a credit card to your profile. Just hoping that is released soon! I also think the booking process is much clearer and thank god they've got rid of that cancel button next to track it! I'd like to see some details of the type of cab whether it's a van, car or 4*4.

The cab was there in 5 minutes.

Cab does not show up, agent does not care, app is crummy. Perfect storm.

App does freeze and blank out buttons, but worse is that drivers pull up when you get the one minute warning call and leave by the time you run outside. Or they will pick up other patrons and blow you off when you are clearly telling them you are booked in their cab number.

Keeping up with uber is going to require more than "we have an app too." App sat dormant for several minutes after booking, saying "nothing to track." Finally told me a cab number but it wasn't on the map. As I tried to pan the map around, it kept recentering and zooming in on me about once a second. Finally found the cab. It sat in the same spot for several minutes then disappeared and the app went back to "nothing to track" and my booking history was empty. Uninstalled. Could have walked there by now.

If I can't set the time, I can't use the app.

Same problem as the other Android users. The book time doesn't work. I gave up and called.

Cannot select date and time for pickup with Android. How long is this fundamental bug going to be left sitting at the development curb?

Just loaded onto my Android and immediately found a bug. My phone is set for military time. The app doesn't account for this. So, when I try to set a booking at 12:30p for a 3:30p (15:30) booking, it sets the pickup at 10:30p (22:30). Please fix this and maybe I'll give it a try.

It doesn't take the date and time I set. It always reverts to pickup now. Can't use it like this.

Doesn't track arriving taxi on map. Doesn't display that a driver has accepted the ride.

I sat in the middle of the golden gate bridge for like 3 eternities!!!

Drivers always cancel bookings. Got tired of being late so I switched to Uber.

Loaded this app in the UK prior to a visit to SF. After about 2 hours battery was empty, on investigation this app was the culprit. Uninstalled.

Booked a cab and then watched as four different drivers rejected my booking. No explanation, no cab, several empty cabs drove past and ignored me. Guess what? Veteran's just got a new customer.

But I could not track the cab once one was dispatched. The map is useless..

Usually when I use these apps they don't work. Was able to use this very easily and got a pickup in 5 minutes. Good job!

Does not let me enter pick up address

asks for my street address, which i type in and then says please type in address. also type in my 10 digit phone number, and it says please enter 10 digit phone number. wtf? i just did. worthless, just like this company.

This app is less than a joke.The Board of Directors of Yellow Cab Co-op San Francisco need to open up their bid process and not be held hostage by one vendor.Our Co-op is fighting for its life and the need for one vendor to continue to turn in invoices is of no concern to us who drive for a living. I love it! I can get a cab quicker than calling and if the driver leaves you hanging, the app gives you the cell number of the driver to call and say wtf! You can also track and give special instruction to driver with app. Flawless %80 of the time.

Most of the features on this app don't work. The one time I used it, my order went through but was cancelled. Suppose that's more along the lines of poor customer service though. ..
