Classical Radio 99.5 WCRB

This app is very meh - my father grew up in Massachusetts and this radio station makes everywhere feel like home. I love the programming- beat Philadelphia's programming by a long shot, that said the app is sub par. It often stops functioning for no reason and has limited offerings or customizations. If they are looking for an example of an outstanding app they should take a look at Minnesota Public Radio's (MPR) app which I stumbled across while looking for choral music and have been in love with ever since.

This app only streams the over-the-air WCRB broadcast. Their excellent mobile web site offers three additional channels, and much else. Use the web site and forget the app. I uninstalled it after one minute.

Simple and always works. Great for when a music identifying app can't pick up on a piece, I just open the app and it's right there.

You love classical music and can't stand hearing the classics of classical anymore? (Bach Beethoven in loops eg) this radio is for you!

App is simple, tells you what's playing, doesn't depend on flaky browser compatibility issues, it just works. Couldn't ask for more!

This is the perfect streaming app! Simple and elegant in its design, it streams flawlessly. It continues streaming on the background while you use other apps and even keeps going if you lock your phone. Absolutely fantastic!

This application is a lost opportunity. I'm very disappointed. 1. Doesn't support tablet mode - it runs sideways on my tablet. This is 2016! 2. Doesn't support Google Cast. 3. No indication of streaming speed. I might want a low bit rate on my phone when I'm walking the dog, but use a higher one at home. If they just posted the titles of the pieces they were playing on TuneIn, I'd be perfectly happy and would uninstall this app. This app doesn't reflect the excellence of WCRB.
