Measure Map Lite lets you quickly and easily draw polygons and measure distances, perimeters and areas over Google Maps and many other map sources with laser sharp precision. It even takes into account the curvature of the earth’s surface. Use it for small areas or large, then share your findings via any sharing app on your device.

Your Android device can now provide you with totally precise measurements of any distance, from as small as a meter to as big as thousands of kilometers or miles, even taking the curvature of the earth’s surface into account when measuring. You don’t need a degree to take advantage of what Measure Map offers. Just drag the cross-hair, plunk pins in to mark the area you want measured and – boom! It’s done. Easy, right?. The "Magic" button allows you to input points more easily without losing it's professional accuracy.

The restrictions of the Lite version are:
* You can only create one polygon with a maximum number of 6 pins.
* No shapes: Cannot create a circle nor a rectangle.

Because the trial verion is so limited I can't work with it to see if it's going to be useful to me. Within a minute I was being pushed towards an upgrade to the pro version... at £26 it's various to great a risk so thanks though no thanks. If it was cira £5 I'd have downloaded it even though I'd only have used the app once or twice a year. Conclusion, probably a good app though blooming expensive......

Ive used this app for years to measure lawns / parking lots / mulch beds to get square footages for agricultural chemical applications. It has been as acurate as using a wheel to measure every time and saves me labor/drive time and fuel as opposed to doing estimates the old fashioned way. I have the paid version and would recomend it to anyone who needs to measure land. With me doing 200 estimates a year It has paid for itself 1000 times over by not driving to sites with a wheel. Buy it , you wont regret it

This is the best range finding app I have ever used. I use it for long range shooting and it works great, my gun was zeroed at 100 yards and I use this app to see how far my target was "500 yards" and I use a app called "Strelok" to calculate what adjustments I had to do on my scope and first shot ,boy was it dead on.
