Put your favourite contacts on your homescreen or lockscreen in a resizable/scrollable grid with quick actions, including directly making a phone call!

Major Features:
* Add a list of contacts on your homescreen or lockscreen
* The list of contacts could be starred contacts, one of your contact groups or all contacts
* Resizable with default size to be 1 * 1, or 2 *2
* Directly dial your contacts without the quick action dialog. Phone number priority: Default -> Mobile -> Main...
* A large version with default size to 2 * 2, and a button at the bottom to directly launch the People app
* Sort your contacts by
** Times Contacted, the most frequently contacted appear at the top
** Last Time Contacted, the most recently contacted appear at the top
** Display Name
* A stack view based wiget(2*2) can show your contacts with larger images
* Option to customize how many contacts to be shown
For those who are complaining about the low resolutions, this widget will never try to download the contact photos for you and directly get photos from the system contacts database. If you have a low resolution pictures in your People app, then there is no chance this widget would find any higher resolution copy for you.
This is an open sourced Android widget built for Android 4.0.3+ devices(lockscreen widgets only works for 4.2+ devices). It allows users to quickly view your favourite/starred contacts or any groups via a resizable/scrollable contacts grid.

Known Issues:
* If you have multiple Google accounts synchronized to your device, the contact groups selection list would not distinguish where the group comes from
* Can not automatically refresh the widget when you make a change to the contact

I've tried a number of contact widgets, and this is by far the best. I can squeeze a huge number of my favorite contacts ("Starred in Android") onto one homescreen, and scroll it to get to the rest. I love the sort by Times Contacted feature because it puts the ones I use most right there without scrolling.

I've used this widget for years, and just realized there is a paid version. I was happy to purchase and support this developer as it's offered at a great price and is superior to all the others. It's more customizable and one of the only widgets that allows scrolling. I have one small critique: I'd like for the widget to show the default "colored letter" tile that Google implemented in its apps (People, gmail) rather than the stock gray silhouette that is shown for contacts without a picture.

I used to love this app, but after having to factory reset my phone it no longer works. I have all my contacts synced with Google, but the app won't recognize any of my groups. My groups show up in the selection list, but I get a "no contacts loaded" message on the home page. I've reached out to the developer, but I got no response.

Great, simple widget. However, it needs work regarding grid spacing and centering. The "Super" size displays at most two widely separated and off-center columns even though my screen has room for three, while other sizes (when names are hidden) show tiny icons with vertical spacing unequal to horizontal spacing. Please fix; I want to love this widget. On Galaxy Nexus. The developer is very friendly and responsive and even emailed me a custom-built .apk (although it didn't seem to fix the previously mentioned issue).

Been using this on all my family's phones for more than a year. Works excellent to get all are starred contacts added on the main screen at one time! Really saves time over placing individual contacts one by one.

Most of the bugs the free version had are gone in this one. Probably the only thing most people want now is a way to customize the order of the contact group you choose. That doesn't bother me much though, so I gave it 5 stars. Also the dev is quick to reply to your emails, if you're having an issue, contact him, he's great!

Same for me, buy this app, was great, but now did not work. Got no contacts loaded, and always i hit Edit, thers default options...
