I have tried to use this app on my 5th fire tablet on my last 2 flights. It would not load any content and the attendant was helpless as has received no training on it. The next flight I thought i was set up, but the app told me it didn't support my silk browser. This upcoming flight in 2 days, I tried to gain some assistance from the app's CONTACT US link with no response since my inquiry 4 days ago so NO, I THINK THE APP SUCKS!

It worked fine for me. Watched 2 movies on my flight with American Airlines, Moana and Wreck it Ralph. I don't get what the negative reception is about but I'm very happy that they gave us an option to use this on the flight, unlike United which charges you through directv. Just wish the Video Player streched the Video to fit on my big phone screen.

Bad job exposing users to malware. Good job streaming movies while airborne. Installation instructions for this app while airborne tell user to install software from unknown locations. It does not tell the user to turn this back on after completing installation. This exposes users to malware unnecessarily. Otherwise the app does a good job streaming movies on the plane. The fact that it pauses playback during announcements is a nice touch.

Reviews are good, as in bad is accurate. I downloaded it and got the blue "congratulations for downloading our app" screen. No way to get past this screen to see any possible content. If the reviews are anything to go by, it's not worth it even if it did load, as movies seem to have skipping issues

Updated the app and now I can not watch movies on flights. Every time I select a movie and hit play it sends me back to the same message that I need to update the app. Contacted the support center and they said its a problem but they have no solution.

Free in flight movies, good choices with a few new releases also listed. No adds, quick and easy to use. Movies Didn't skip or buffer at all, even accidently close my movie and it was effortless to return to the page and restart the movie. Will definitely use anytime I fly.

Y70%
by Y####:

Worthless app. Due to frequent skipping while watching I was able to finish a movie that was listed at 2 hours, 4 minutes, in 1 hour , 48 minutes. It would always skip at the same points if you rewound to see what you missed.

After watching the first movie, I couldn't get back to the menu to select a second movie. Flight crew said someone asked them about it yesterday and they couldn't figure out. I am using android. My son, sitting next to me, using iPad, was able to press blue strip that says gogo at top of screen & get back to menu. Didn't work for me. I even restarted my phone. Went back into gogo app, still showed 1st movie selection.

OKAY HERE'S SOME ADVICE I honestly think this isn't working for people because they aren't paying attention to whether their flight IS offering in flight entertainment or not. This app worked flawlessly for me on one of my flights in the U.S. through Delta but not on my smaller international flight to the bahamas. (Which is fair, it was a small plane and out of the country) sooo here's some tips: -make sure your device is compatible with in-flight entertainment (older phones, ipads, kindles might not work) -check if your flight offers wifi -AND if your airline has free movies... just look it up on your airlines website -that you are boarded ON your plane AND 10,000 ft in the air... obviously this app won't work on the ground or if you aren't on the plane. That's the whole point of this app. You can't just use this app whenever. -that you are on airplane mode and wifi is turned on Hopefully that helps! I was able to watch moana and suicide sqaud without any issues :) makes for a great way to forget your stresses while traveling. Goodluck!!!

Delta, you are far superior in every aspect of the air except for this terrible app for your entertainment. Movies skip constantly, once you watch a movie you can't get back to menu to pick another. Worst part is these problems have been happening ever since you went to this app and never been fixed. For the love of the loyal business traveler, somebody please do something to fix this.

It worked until last month. Now I get an alert saying I don't have the current version of the app when flying American Airlines. Yet I show that I have the most current version. It is very frustrating. The United app works just fine.

M70%
by M####:

Doesn't work. Big hassle. Said the file was corrupt and that I didn't have the app but obviously I did. This is typical headache software, not fully tested. Support chat was good, but they didn't know how to help me. Uninstalled.

U70%
by U####:

Useless useless app. Like many others, I was forced to download this - on an American airlines flight, and ended up in a circular loop where I'd download it... It would congratulate me... Send me of to browse the American airlines movie selection... I'd choose one - and then either be advised the app was not installed or if didn't work with my chrome browser - despite my chrome browser being very definitely a version their help page said was supported. So. No flight entertainment on 2 international flights. Worse.. It only works over north America anyway so as soon as you leave AT&Ts area of influence, you have no entertainment anyway - and that is American airlines fault!

so frustrating that I have a perfectly good tablet I can't use with this app, down to 1* from 2 for them still not having fixed this garbage. Works (but not great with all the skipping) on laptop and phone but not tablet despite the dozen or so ROMs I've flashed hoping to fix the problem.

H70%
by H####:

It says it's corrupt. That I need a newer version. This is the only one available. Very frustrating! Spent my entire flight trying to get it to work

W70%
by W####:

Worst app I ever downloaded. Most of the time I can't even get it to work. Even when the app does load, the movie selection is slim, and the movies keep buffering/skipping. Don't waste your time trying to download this useless piece of trash.

P70%

I am really disliking this app. I have not been able to get back to the main menu to find something different to watch. Not happy and I fly Delta and Alaska all of the time. Very frustrating!!

R70%
by R####:

Alot of people don't realize it works a ton better if you download when you have good wifi because I will install at home and watch movies tv etc on the plane and it works amazing. But if I download on the plane then I either have to pay for wifi or download before hand and use lots of data. It works for me on my Alaska airlines flights

R70%
by R####:

This app is absolutely useless. All I wanted to do was watch a movie on my flight and so I went through the trouble of a 20 minute installation with plenty of issues for nothing. Finally, the app would load my movie for about 5 seconds and then it would malfunction and say there was a problem playing the movie. In the end, I could not play any movies at all and the apo was absolutely no help. If anything, this app caused more problems than everything else involved in trying to get a movie playing.

P70%
by P####:

It would not let me end the program I had selected to search for another program. I even closed it out. I have now uninstalled hopefully it will let me now look for something else. While in-flight you can't uninstall to reinstall.

by R####:

Download the app and also the person next to me and we could not get the app to work on either the tablet or phone. Just a waste of time and energy. I should of just gone to sleep instead of trying to figure out why the app did not work.

R70%
by R####:

I think its stupid to require this download, but not tell you until after you already took off..but hey buy wifi to download it over 45 min..just in time to land.

R70%
by R####:

If you can get it to work, it works fairly well. Skipping or stalling is an issue about half the time. Someone said it pauses during announcements, I've never seen that happen (at least not on Delta). So annoying that you can't go back and pick something else, no way to get to a main menu. Using android Galaxy 8+. Does not maximize screen space. Bring something else to entertain yourself just in case.

Horrible skipping problem like others mention. This has been going on for years and still not fixed. Not surprised AA sued you, gogo.

R70%
by R####:

It looks like it has a lot of good movies to watch but every time I click 'watch movie' it keeps telling me I need to download the gogo entertainment app. It's downloaded and installed. I signed in and everything. But it keeps telling me I need to download it. I just want to watch my movie.

The app is very inconsistent. Sometimes it worked others it didn't. Very disappointing when you have a 4 hour flight. Delta should really rethink there approach. Looks like I may have to try another airline

Q70%

Terrible, no way to get back to home page. I have to keep uninstalling it and reinstalling. Most of the time the plane internet does not work either.

Delta passenger. UI is a little clunky, but the app looks decent and I didn't encounter any of the bugs others were complaining about (on Delta.)

V70%
by V####:

Unfortunately it does work for me. I go to the web portal select a movie. Once I had the app installed it says to open it but nothing happens. If I click next on the instructions screen it just starts the process over.

R70%
by R####:

Works well except i have to uninstall and reinstall to watch another movie/program st least half the time. Should be fairly easy to fix.

R70%

Skipping all the time, when you can get the app to work at all. Getting it to work is like falling into the rabbit hole.

R70%

I downloaded the app and it doesn't work. I am unable to get past the thanks for downloading the app message.

I can download the app but my browser is unsupported. Stupid that the app has to utilize your browser to pick the video before playing it in app.

Never worked. It just crashed every tome I tried to start a movie.

I downloaded the app and when I opened it and when through all the settings it still wouldn't work for me. Mu phone kept telling me ot was corrupt and would not play anything. So I waisted $20 to watch movies on my flight that I could not even watch.

R70%
by R####:

Horrible update last 3 flights won't play any movies due to need to "download an upgrade" which the file is corrupted whether u download it on a plane or at home...horrible I hope airplanes receive a different company to do in flight movies...bad enough apps like Netflix don't work

Q70%
by Q####:

Alaska Air is a disappointing carrier with another disappointing service. The app took an excessive amount if time to download and didn't open at all. It's a complete waste of time and expectations

It only allowed one movie. I could not get back to the home page.

Downloaded on a flight and continuously goes back to the watch screen, between trying for 30 minutes to watch a movie
