كتابٌ شيقٌ لطيفٌ، جاء في مقدمة وأربعة وعشرين بابًا، ذكر المؤلف في المقدمة الأسباب التي دفعته إلى تصنيف هذا الكتاب، وبدأ الكتاب بباب ذكر الحماقة ومعناها، واخْتُتِم بباب في ذكر المغفلين على الإطلاق.

المؤلف ابن الجوزي
عبد الرحمن بن علي بن محمد الجوزي القرشي البغدادي أبو الفرج، علامة عصره في التاريخ والحديث، ولد ببغداد سنة (508 هـ) ونسبته إلى (مشرعة الجوز) من محالها. كثير التصانيف، له نحو ثلاثمائة مصنف، وتوفي سنة (597 هـ). News Fools
