Op vaklunch.nl schrijven wij iedere week over een onderwerp uit onze praktijk. Het zijn onderwerpen waarover wij ons verbazen, waarover wij ons opwinden en waarvan wij vinden dat de advocatuur daar iets mee moet of van op de hoogte moet zijn. In onze praktijk hebben wij met name te maken met het fiscale (boete)recht en financiële fraude zaken, die ook wel bekend staan als FIOD-zaken. Wij schrijven daarom met name over onderwerpen die raakvlak hebben met deze praktijk. De strafvorderlijke spelregels – die zowel in commune als in bijzondere (FIOD) strafzaken gelden – leveren veel stof op voor discussie en het recht is constant in beweging. Een goede kennis van de ontwikkelingen in het (straf)recht is van belang om een cliënt zo goed mogelijk te kunnen adviseren. Kennis van het strafrecht is in FIOD zaken echter veelal niet genoeg. De ontwikkelingen in het fiscale (boete)recht staan immers ook niet stil. Daarom is het van belang om constant een verbinding te blijven leggen tussen beide rechtsgebieden. Ook strategisch gezien is op dit gebied nog veel terrein te winnen. Daarom vragen wij op onze site ook aandacht voor het fiscale (boete)recht.
