The idea of bundling trips is great. However, most of the time, this feature won't work, even if you export a trip created by Google Trip's. If this issue is fixed then it will be more attractive. Without this feature working properly there is no point in using this app since you can do pretty much the same with the built-in gmail app and its labels/filters.
Can't read labels. Have had to go back to original gmail app as it word wraps labels so I can read them. This app just cuts off the end of long labels so you have no idea where you are storing each email. Strange oversize or maybe a technical difficulty they could not over come or maybe they are trying to encourage bot storing emails under three levels of labels. All in all not an app that is of any use to me
Please help me fix the snooze function. I really love this app but over the last few weeks the snooze function is not fully working. I've contacted the help desk and their suggestions didn't work and I can't find out who else to contact. Please help me restore this to a five star app.
I really love Inbox. Very unique & awesome. I like it better than the Gmail default email app. The fact that you can erase, delete, & be done with emails all at once says a lot about this app..... Oh & the customization is also very nice. Keep updating & improving the app. Thanks
I am addicted to this app and use it on desktop as well. Just please return the previous mode of picking up the date for the snooze option - the calendar view. Now, I am not sure which date is a particular day of the week. Thanks and keep up the good work
It's organised well and opens quickly but it regularly lags when opening individual emails. My current workaround is to open the email, if it lags I press the home button on my S7 Edge then reopen the inbox app which then opens the selected email. It's not a great solution but it's quicker than waiting for your selected email to open. ????
This app would be absolutely perfect, if the text formatting features weren't absent. I definitely encounter times when I went to use italics or bold, and I just can't. Is that really too difficult to add?
TypeApp is still better right now. This app needs to be able to add my other non-gmail accounts, have a unified inbox that can be the default inbox so I don't have to switch inbox. I'll adjust review as my request gets fulfilled.
Pretty solid email app. BUT? The Spam filter is literally the worst on the market! It's not intuitive, it's plain stupid. It flags 90% of my emails as Spam. I have to check my spam folder every day like my blooming inbox! And theres no safe list! I am NOT entering all my shopping emails into my address book - no way. But, it's even flagged my actual contacts as Spam before now! Great app. Absolutely the worst spam filter ever.
Can't resize inserted pictures. All of youtube notification thumbnails shrink down to phone width. Resent e-mails open up minimised as conversation showing only "..." so i always avoid resending and instead use screenshots.
Do Google actually bother with this anymore? No long-press icon shortcuts, no notification channels… These are YOUR features, Google! I'm surprised it has an adaptive icon. There's a setting to be notified about all new emails, but it doesn't seem to work; rather you have to manually label each new email, then make sure you have notifications turned on for the relevant bundle. It looks great and integration with reminders is handy, so it's such a shame these very simple issues haven't been addressed.
There are some basic functionalities missing or not easy to use. For example there is no select all option, which is a very important feature for email app. Otherwise it is very good.
The most recent update broke the ability to send photo attachments. They just get saved to drafts and will not send even if I hit send again
Cannot create nested folders (adding "/" doesn't work). Cannot see individual messages - only in conversation mode.
What's up with notifications? I need to keep the regular Gmail app around to get notified of new mail. The issue comes and goes. It needs to go for good.
Great app, but as is too common for Google's own apps, falling behind Android features. It desperately needs notification channels on Android 8, as it's just a notification nightmare otherwise!
I use it on my Samsung galaxy s6 and it's extremely slow. Sometimes it won't notify me when an email comes through which is very frustrating.
Doesn't receive emails by push. I have to refresh manually before emails arrive. Wasn't always like this. Update. Still not fixed.... .
Feedback : Can't see info if app is encrypted or choose to be notified if not safe , like main app , should I uninstall? , Other than that nice app
I love the versatility of the app, but I don't like the lack of formatting options. The Gmail app lets me make text bold, italicized, underlined, etc. This is a huge omission for an email client.
I hate that emails that I snooze automatically get pinned as well when they return. Would love the option to disable that function and only be able to manually pin emails.
Inbox definitely has some features that give it an advantage over the normal Gmail app (like the ability to snooze emails, set reminders in app, and seeing all the attachments from an email chain in the email preview). However, for this app to be a true full time stand-in for Gmail there are still 3 major features that are missing to make this a 4 or 5 star rated app... 1) Text formatting options. 2) Mark as unread. 3) Inline "reply to" feature that recognizes the contacts involved in the current email as opposed to only allowing for the most recent email recipients in the thread to be the default "reply to."
Best App Ever, For Email. Keep It Going And Add Only One Feature, To Delete All Emails At One Time.
Notifications still broken. Account set to notify on all messages, but only certain ones come in such as Google alert emails.
This is hands down the best mail app I've ever used. I've been a user since the beta and run my life out of it! Thanks Google for making such a stellar product! :)
Problems with the notifications, tried all. Love the inbox function but until the notification problem is fixed its hard to use
No notifications for redmi note 4 (although I had the same issue with Nexus 5), which makes the app completely useless...
When we send photo attachment, it pastes the photo in mail body. So it is difficult to recover from recipients side. The attachment should be an attachment.
I would use this app if it supported non-google email such as an imap account. It only supports google email, but i have google email and imap email, so i want both of my email accounts. I'm just gonna stick to the gmail app so i can have both of my email accounts, but this doesnt support any other servers.
Stuffed up my emails and no way to bulk undo the "done" in order to put up all back in my inbox. Worst decision I made this year. Do not install it!
Tried it again recently, snoozing still appears broken. (Android 8.0, OnePlus 3T). Snoozed reminders never generate another notification at the desired time, making snoozing them a bit pointless.
Notifications are unreliable. Sometimes will notify sometimes won't on my Note 8. Needs an update.
I just can't live without loss priority bundle now!
Notifications come as they wish... And when they don't, I have to refresh manually in order to receive new messages... I'm sorry
It kind of lags a bit. A lot actually. I dig it though.
Can I please just get the option to add an image to my signature Google??? Staying with bluemail until you can figure this simple task out. I would take it for Gmail or this app.
App will not stop crashing and therefore slows down the phone drastically.
Now this app does not work on my oneplus one kitkat android.
THIS IS A EXCELLENT APP WHOEVER HAS A G- MAIL ACCOUNT FOR GOOGLE GET THE BLUE INBOX APP IT KEEPS YOU IN ORDER.
Doesn't Work On My Fire HD 10 It Keeps Crashing.????
